Greek yogurt or Skyr

Options
I have just started on 500g greek yogurt no fat a day to boost protein for working out without boosting too many calories

Anyone know if Skyr would be better? Similar protein, few more calories. Not sure if traditionsl benefits of Greek is better overall or not?

I buy Skyr because I like it, not sure if it’s materially different to a fat free Greek Yoghurt. As far as I know it’s personal preference.

I’ve holidayed in both places and loved Iceland so much more than Greece - so that 100% informs my buying decision. 🤷‍♀️

Haha, I love both and been to both this year! I also do prefer the taste and texture of skyr though. Thus my decision is clear.

Where I shop, Greek is readily available, Skyr is more rare and more expensive, so Greek. But I do like skyr as well.

There's not really any major difference. Just personal preference really. I prefer Skyr, but it's typically harder to come by and more expensive and my wife eats a lot of Greek Yogurt, so we typically just get that from Costco
