Hey Everyone! We are back at it again with round 10!
Congratulations to those of you who stuck it out till the end in round 9! It is a long, but amazing journey and our daily habits can help us achieve our long term goals. We are so proud of you!
This challenge is a 100 days of weighting in daily. This is where we track our fluctuations on a day to day basis to see which foods, activities, & movement make the scale move in the right direction.
Day 1 will be on Friday, October 22nd & Day 100th will be on Saturday, January 29th.
Feel free to start whenever you want. Jump in and join even if you didn’t start on Day 1.
The rules are simple:
1. Set yourself a goal of what you want to weigh on Day 100 and work towards getting there for the next 100 days.
2. Weigh yourself daily, unless you can’t (you’re away from home or not near a scale).
3. Don’t get discouraged by fluctuations. Use this as a time to understand your body.

I must've worked off some calories yesterday when I went out on my new adult tricycle, rode around for nearly 3 hours! It got pretty chilly by the time I got home ~ and threatening overcast ~ but I felt GREAT!! I even got to stop in to visit TWO of my daughters (both of whom live nearby)...so that took some time also, but all in all, I think I am already getting good on handling this bike...it's not what I thought it would be; it actually handles differently than any other bike I've ever owned! So far, however, I think it may turn out to be one of my FAVORITES!! 😂4 -

I started by myself on 10/2/21 after being diagnosed with diabetes at 29 - how freaking embarrassing. I have a follow up Dr Appt in the beginning of Jan and I'm hoping to lose enough weight for there to be no need for treatment with medication. By then, I'm hoping I'll have put enough time into the habit for it to stick and for me to keep losing weight in a healthy and sustainable manner.
I've been following a 1400 calorie moderate-carb diet, where I consider anything between 1300-1500 to be on target for the day. My average over the last 21 days is approximately 1430 calories. I have not started a proper exercise routine, but have made a concentrated effort to increase my walking. I'm averaging about 8,500 a day now - when before I was probably below 2,000 steps per day.
I'm going to put my daily measurements in for each day, and use my trend-weight as calculated by libra for the weeks 'actual weight'.
