Inconsistent available calories between app and website!

This morning, the MFP website was down. I refreshed it after about an hours, and it was back up. I signed in, and the one food I logged was not yet syncrhonized.

I refreshed a couple of times after opening the app, and it finally showed up, and funny enough it also showed up reflecting the exercise adjustment. My app, however, doesn't. As a result, the website states I have 1,949 calories remaining (309 calories added from exercise) but the app still shows only 1,640 calories remaining with 0 calories from exercise shown.

I checked the Connect app, and the section where it shows calories in/out (where it links to MFP), it currently says "Linking accounts failed".

Edit 1: Not sure if this is related to the outage earlier, but right now, I'm unsure if this is an issue I need to start tackling from MFP side, or Garmin's side.

Edit 2: The app finally synchronized and correctly displays the remaining calorie balance.

Disregard; the app finally synchronized and reflects the remaining calorie balance correctly! Mods, you can close this thread!

I'm glad you solved the problem, @anthonyloprimo.

FWIW, if you want your thread deleted, go to your OP, click flag underneath, then report, then the button next to "this is my post and I want to delete it". The mods don't read all the threads, necessarily, but if you do that they'll see it in their queue and delete it for you eventually (usually pretty soon).

Maybe you already did that, but we can't see that type of flag on other people's posts, so I can't check. It's just that I know a lot of people, especially those who haven't posted often in the Community, don't know this.

I actually just wanted the post to close where people can see it. I know I've often been in a spot where I've searched for help, I come across a forum post where someone had the same issue, and they just say "fixed" and leave it at that. Or worse, they abandon the thread with no word! :(

I'd rather keep the post visible to anyone else, so they know this is just more of a waiting game (and then reach out to MFP support if it doesn't resolve itself!)

I like that - good thought!
