Good luck! I personally don't eat any added sugars but find it really easy because I eat a lot of fruit, dates, and things like sweet potatoes that are naturally very sweet. Natural sugar comes with a lot of health benefits like fiber and antioxidants and is not the same as added sugar!2

I've come to realise that some people need to make up challanges and overcome them in order to feel they are doing something.
I find this cruel deprivation pointless.
Seriously? Cruel deprivation? Not everyone feels deprived not eating sweets. I used to eat them all the time, and felt like crap after eating whatever it was. I changed my habits and quit eating sweets and now only very occasionally do I eat something sweet. When I do, I get horrible heartburn, feel crappy and regret it. So yeah, not everyone sees it as cruel or deprivation. It leaves more calories for me to eat a larger supper which I would rather have, and I don't have to deal with heartburn anymore.6
