What's wrong with the iOS app now? Only getting results in cups/servings

Argh! Since moving to another (European) country (might be coincidence) I only get food in cups or servings! I of course add USDA where needed, and still nothing. I can't get spring onions, onions, garlic, ginger, chili peppers, lots of other things anymore.

I've seen a few posts about missing units. This is the only one I could find (and there was never an answer):

No, it didn't work. I continue getting the serving/piece or cup measurements So if this is the same problem then it also ended up on iOS.

I didn't use the app much - with a few exceptions, I think desktop is WAY more user friendly. However, the app is certainly more convenient now that my computer is on a different floor, so I have been using it more.

Perhaps they changed how you get to serving options? When I use an entry that MFP pulled from the USDA database and click on the Serving Size box, I get all the varieties I expect:
