            @kellyswimmer Everyone has ups and downs - that's life. I try to think "tomorrow will be better" and it (usually ) helps. Maybe try changing one thing about your diet at a time, like slightly smaller portion sizes of food for just one meal a day. Keep up the baby steps until you're comfortable with it and it will become a habit you don't have to think about any more. If that doesn't work for you, try something else until you find what works for you. Tomorrows will get better.                        2 ) helps.             @blshuffl1 Maybe reframe your discouragement into "This bump in my road can't stop me!". Another thing I found out was to focus on diet more than exercise because I'd have to walk 5 miles to burn off 500 calories. It was much easier for me to eat 500 cals less per day. Of course you want to exercise when you can, but if you can't, know that you can adapt your diet/exercise ratio to still make progress.

 It’s hard for me to get in my protein, and I know that protein is one of the most essential macros to eat. I also do CrossFit so I definitely need the protein for muscle repair. I set my weight loss goals between 5-7 pounds because I know those are workable goals.1
