I am on that journey as well! Looking to lose exactly that!4

Yes! The same goal. Hoping to work on smaller chunks to ultimately reach that goal!7

Add me to the list! I’m restarting my journey with some learned wisdom from before. In 2015 I lost 150 pounds but didn’t keep it off. Looking back I became far too extreme about limiting my food choices, which I now know was not sustainable. I never went to restaurants or saw friends as I feared the food choices and breaking my routine. When I did “cheat” it made me feel awful about myself, I should have been more forgiving on myself. All was made worse by the pandemic. My alcohol consumption also became out of control. I stopped going to the doctor. Not good. I’ve now gained it all back. After my first doctor visit in several years, reality hit home. I finally said no more. Now I am starting over again. I am facing my bad habits head on. I am eating healthy but not soooo restrictive, I quit alcohol (it’s just not my friend), I walk daily, and I log my food and pay attention to what I consume. I am including real life into my journey. I could really use the support of others.15

I'm somewhat similar and I'm using liquid collagen. Down 10lbs so far.3

Yup, I don't have an exact goal weight in mind, but 100lbs is a good start so that's the goal. Like @KarlynKeto I previously lost a lot of weight, and have regained it after poor life choices and an absolute drubbing by the pandemic, leading to terrible choices. I am aiming for sustainable weight loss while still enjoying life and not overly restricting.6

I'm trying to lose somewhere between 100/125/150lbs - at the moment about 3 months in and I am down 35lb.10

I started at 304ish lbs and healthy bmi is 167ish lbs so not 100% sure what my goal is but 204lbs is approx. the obese to overweight treshold for me so definitely looking to get there. So far lost 33ish lbs7

Yes, I need to lose between 40-50 kilos so between 88-110 lbs. Realistically, to have a healthy BMI, I would definitely need to lose at least 100lbs. So I'm also part of the club. I've lost a similar amount before, but after chronic illness before the pandemic and then the pandemic, I just wasn't able to focus on healthy habits and ended up putting it all back on. This time I am very much focusing on changing my mindset for life. The previous time I was more preoccupied with the aesthetic side of weight loss. Now I want to get back to feeling healthy and being able to do strength training which I fell in love with before becoming ill.3

I am looking to lose 138 total.
Currently down 82.8 since Feb.24. You can do it!8 -
I am heavier now than ever before in my life. Being an older adult and this heavy, makes life very difficult to move. But If I do not move, or make some changes I will not be able to move at all, sooner rather than later. Beginning of this week I weighed in at 276, Today 274. I am setting small goals, but achievable.
Fitbit is back on my ankle. Current Goal is 2k steps a day
Do not eat after dinner, do not get up at 3 am and eat etc.
Do not have a snack between bfast and lunch
Afternoon snack is my fiber recipe drink with 1/2 beef stick from members mark.
Weigh every day no exceptions.7 -
yes we are here, setting small goals to achieve to add up to that one big goal3

Hi! Best of luck! This weight thing is such a tricky thing. I have done the yo-yo over the years (yes this isn't my first rodeo on MFP) and this week the scale tipped my highest weight of 252.9. I am looking to lose 130 pounds. One step at a time and hopefully meet some peeps along the way. In the past I just used the app as a tracking device. I am thinking that maybe I need to use it for information, inspiration along with tracking. We got this!!!3

Hey everyone,
Thanks for such a great post Rachel! I’m definitely keen to make some new friends, especially those who are facing similar battles.
I lost about 100 lbs and then gained it back over the past two years with covid. Pretty disappointed in myself but I don’t want to dwell on it.
Had a few health issues of late so it’s woken me up and now I’m committed to my health.
Would love to chat with anyone who feels like they want to share their story or needs support.
Have a great day :-)5 -
Yep! Looking to lose at least 100lbs but starting small with a 10lb goal. It feels a little daunting to be looking such a huge number in the face, but hoping with mini goals and a LOT of patience it will work out!4
