Heart health and Fat

Hi there,

I’m confused about the fat score given in the app in the heart health widget. I only eat healthy fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated and a small amount of saturated) however the fat daily amount is hard to keep as everything seems to get generically added to the single Fat category). In relation to heart health the fats I eat are actually good for my health however it seems like there’s too much according to the app. Is this the case or am I misreading the data?

Thanks

I don't know anything about a heart health widget, but the total amount of fats you eat aren't really relevant for heart health.
How you split your calories over fat, carbs and protein is personal preference mostly, and fats are necessary for hormone health for example. So I would just keep focusing on the types of fat you eat. As long as they are mostly healthy fats, it's not a problem to go over your fat goal.
