But, in a nutshell, stay within your calorie goal for weight loss, macros for satiety. Eat some or PLEASE GOD all of your exercise calories. Reevaluate in about 4-6 weeks if it's working or not and what you can do to change that.
And remember that weight loss isn't linear and to have patience and don't freak out if you don't lose every week.1
