What I do. Your mileage may vary:
  • No alcohol. I've had enough to drink already in my lifetime!
  • Plenty of water. I don't count ounces, but I know when I haven't had enough.
  • Track meals religiously.
  • Weigh myself no less than 4 times/week. Mostly more. Great motivation!
  • Walk and lift small weights. Every little bit helps.
  • Keep healthy snacks around, especially nuts, carrots, and celery.
  • Be willing to cheat a little when it's warranted (like my birthday).
  • Wear the tightest-fitting clothing I can.
