I’ve been consistently doing the OMAD diet and have seen great results the only issue is getting enough protein and calories in so I decided to start breaking the fast with 2 scoops of isopure whey in the mornings and early afternoon to at least get 100 grams then try to consume at least 60 grams of protein in my one meal had anyone else done this type of diet?

I've been doing OMAD for 8 months with good success. It's not for everyone but it works well for me. The calories in/out people are likely correct in that this is a way to restrict calories. This is so simple to stick to, eventually, you don't even think about being on a diet, it's a way of life. When on vacation, I've dropped out for a few days when being around others. The first day getting back on OMAD can be a little tough but in general, it's worth trying. I believe people that eat small meals, all day long, will not like OMAD. People that tend to eat one larger meal a day and snack a lot, this could be for you.3

Maybe take a look in the OMAD Group: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/20634-omad-revolution
Why are you trying for 160g protein? That seems like a lot...are you a large male?0 -
Forgive my ignorance, but if you're not getting enough protein and calories in OMAD, have you thought about eating another meal? If you're breaking a fast with the supplements, food could work too. I'm not against supplements and meal replacements, but I would think the human body would respond well to a variety of food if you need more. Just my random Wednesday thought.3

The only reason I break my fast and it’s okay to do so is because it’s straight up protein 0 carbs sugars it would create an insulin spike along with protein synthesis to prevent loss of muscle or to even gain in this diet most of your calories should be from protein I was just wondering if anyone had any other methods that I haven’t thought of0

I'm not sure what you are saying here... is it that protein does not produce an insulin spike, or maybe that people who choose the OMAD diet should get most of their calories from protein, or maybe both of these?

Wait. What?
Are you doing a protein sparing modified fasting low calorie plan?
I don't understand your "plan." Your post isn't very clear.
How many calories are you aiming for daily?0 -

Your reasons aren't justified I'm afraid. First of all consuming protein elicits and insulin response and some whey powders cause huge spikes actually. Second, these are meals for all intense and purposes so now your basically having 3 meals a day. cheers.5 -
