    Hi there!
My name is Ashley, I'm 35 years old, and in early 2021 I weighed 293 pounds.
I'm now in my maintenance range (160-165). I have learned so much about myself through this process!

Sep 1 - 163 (I knew I had a long day at work so I got up before 5 to ride the Peloton. Work did go late, but I managed to fit a dog walk and a strength session in tonight as well. Feels good!)
Sep 2 - 163.8 (Checking in from the back seat of my vehicle as we drive across two provinces of Canada to get to my Aunt's wedding.)
Sep 3 - 162.8 (Hotel breakfast and then I hit the hotel gym for a treadmill session. Lunch was fairly indulgent and there is a reasonable amount of alcohol around for pre-wedding socializing. Trying to pace myself.)
    Sep 4 - 166.2
    Sep 5 - 166
Sep 6 - 165.6 (We had a fantastic time at the wedding. Definitely ate and drank way too much BUT that's the good thing about daily weighing.. doesn't turn into a 3 month binge. We are back on the road home today so it's another 11 hour day in the car. Tomorrow we start driving west for my husband's bike race but we are breaking that drive up so tomorrow and Thursday's jaunts won't be such long days. Lots of car time means when I'm out of it I need to be moving!)
Sep 7- 165.2 (Today we are driving west to Kamloops, BC. We are on our way to Vancouver for my husband's Gran Fondo on Saturday. I just had a diner meal that was much heavier than my normal choices. Getting a bit caught up in vacation mode decision making.)
Sep 8 - 167 (Up and on the road again this afternoon. Almost in Vancouver. Tonight is the Bills home opener so we are going to go out to watch the game.)
Sep 9 - 168.6 (We watched the Bills win and then went out for supper to an Italian restaurant. I track on holiday so the weight going up is expected based on the overconsumption. Unfortunately yesterday was a day of low movement as well.)
Sep 10 - 171.4 (Started the day with a 60 minute Peloton app ride on the gym bike. Then I drove from Vancouver to Whistler in insanely bad traffic to cheer my husband on as he completed his second Gran Fondo of the season. We had an absolutely delicious meal out. The restaurant food has been very indulgent this trip.)
Sep 11 - DNW (ATV trip today. Enjoying coffee on our patio before we go.)
Sep 12 - DNW (Today we leave Whistler and head towards Victoria for a funeral tomorrow. We will see what activities we get up to on the way.)
Sep 13 - 172.6 (In Victoria, BC where I have not been in well over 15 years. Leaving shortly for the celebration of life.)
    Sep 14 - 171.4
    Sep 15 - 170.4
Sep 16 - 170.8 (We are driving East now with our final stop of the vacation planned for Penticton, BC before we head home Sunday.)
    Sep 17 - 172.4
Sep 18 - 174.4 (We are driving home today and back to work tomorrow. We live in a beautiful country. Our vacation was full of many lovely memories.)
Sep 19 - 173.6 (Back to work and back to routine. Husband is on a business trip. I will get on the Peloton after the football game.)
Sep 20 - 172.6 (Had to work through my lunch break but I got on the Peloton tonight and took my dog for a short walk too so my exercise turned out fine. Food is under too.)
Sep 21 - 172.4 (Today I donated blood on my lunch break so I've been taking it easy otherwise. Work was busy and after work I got my stuff done as quickly as I could around home so I can just enjoy my husband's company when he gets home from his business trip.)
    Sep 22 - 170.4
    Sep 23 - 168.4
Sep 24 - 169.4 (Got through my crazy stressful work week. Definitely overate Thursday and Friday nights. Last weekend at the lake for the season.)
Sep 25 - 169.8 (Enjoying my coffee outside and watching the fall leaves tumble down. Today we watch the Bills and then get packed up at the trailer.)

    About Me

My name is Ian and I am a 62 year old male from the Midlands of the UK. I am 6' 0" tall. I have a number of health conditions which prevent me from doing aerobic exercise and I take medication which as a side effect lowers my metabolic rate and increases my feelings of hunger. I can't walk so use a mobility scooter. As a result my weight loss depends totally on calorie intake reduction.

    My Goals

My initial target is 100kg by the end of October, to move from obese to simply overweight. I would like to get my waist size below 40" too. My calorie intake target to achieve that is 1,200 - 1,300 calories/day.

For September my goal is 101.8kg, a loss of 1.8kg (0.45kg or 1 lb/week), and a waist size of 42.5"

    Today's update:

    SEPTEMBER
    Initial Starting Weight: 225.2
    September Starting Weight: 210.6
    September Goal Weight: 205.6
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 180.0

I am late to the game, but weigh every day due to heart failure and fluid issues. I am finally making a daily weight check part of my morning routine (It had been doctors advice for a couple of years now but I just could not get in the routine of it)

For reference, I am 55f, 5'11" tall, and August 1st got back to a low carb menu in my house after losing a bunch and gaining it back 2 years ago.

    SEPTEMBER GOALS (DAILY):
    ⚖️ Weigh in
👟 Walk 5,500+ steps (Starting September 15th- nice to add something to the daily goal)

    DAILY LOG:
    September 1:210.6
    September 2:211
    September 3:210.2
    September 4:209.4
    September 5:209.4

    September 12:207.8
    September 13:208.2
    September 14:206.6
    September 15:207.6
September 16:208.4 I am getting used to the fluctuations and will trust the process.
    September 17:207.8
    September 18:207.8
    September 19:205.2
    September 20:205.2
    September 21:204.2
September 22:205.6 Trust the process trust the process trust the process lol
September 23:206.4 The fact that I checked in at all after seeing this is a win. Mid week bloat from too much salt I suspect. My heart failure can give my weight a swing of sometimes 3-8 pounds in a week. Laying off the salt and staying on track for the weekend. (Hurricane Fiona headed for us but we are outside the cone)
September 24:207 No fancy bold text for my gain today because hurricane Fiona has left us without power. I'll come back from this :)
September 25:208.2 I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday. I suspect it is fluid because my breathing is affected and I have not significantly changed my eating from when I was posting losses. I still have five days to end September at 205.6. Hopefully laying off the salt and less stress will be enough.
September 26:205.2 Three pounds disappeared from one day to the next. Fluid. I do sometimes wonder if barometric pressure can change our weight. Something to look up on the interwebz later lol No damage from the hurricane, and stress lifted overall.

My September goals are to get more movement in on workdays-this is severely lacking and to be more mindful of self care.

    OSW: 250
    UGW: 150 ish
    9/30 GW: 208
    December 2022 GW: Onederland
    CW: 213.1

    9/1: 213.1
    9/2: 213.8
9/3: 213.8 In the middle of August I dropped 4 pounds in 10 days. I’ve been this weight since 8/19. It’s frustrating but I know what the culprits are, not enough movement and too much stress. I’m trying to work on these this weekend.
    9/4: 213.1
    9/5: 212.6 Hello!
9/6: 214.9 Yowch! In some serious pain, helping my parents pack and move all weekend has finally caught up with me. I am not in my 20s anymore!
    9/7: 213.9 Ups and downs
9/8: 213.4 Bad sleep last night, lots of stress, feel like I will never get away from 213!
9/9: DNW When I remembered the day was already half over. I’m really struggling with stress and my health has taken a back burner. I don’t like this
9/10: 214.9 Lots of stress and had to eat out yesterday which I never do and that’s a lot of sodium. Hopefully some yoga this weekend.
    9/11: 213.1
I got some yoga in yesterday which was nice, more for stress relief and stretching than calorie burn. I have some other self care planned today.
I’m in the US so am remembering all we lost so tragically 21 years ago.
9/12: 212.1 A little frustrating as I’ve only lost 1 pound this month and that’s not the rate I’ve been losing at for the past 5 months. However, I had some really stressful days this month and wasn’t able to be as active and I think stress causes me to retain water. I’m hoping for an easier October!
    9/13: 210.7.
Last nights sleep debacle makes sense now, I was up so many times to relieve myself and it’s showing on the scale. I’m hoping my body is letting go of some (or all) of its stress while letting go of it’s water.
    9/14: 210.7
    9/15: 210.7
    9/16: 211.2
    9/17: 209.4
This is exciting, to be in a new decade ) Getting some exercise and self care in this weekend.
    9/18: 209.4
    9/19: 209.4
Well, hello Monday….so we meet again.
    9/20: 208.4
    9/21: 208.4
    9/22: 207.9
    9/23: 207.9
It’s good to be solidly in a different decade now
    9/24: 207.3
Planning tomorrow to be self care Sunday, hoping to unplug. Raining here today, hopefully walkable weather tomorrow.
    9/25: 208.4
Dinner out last night, within calories but lots of sodium
    9/26: 207.3
    Monday….again! Yuck!

    September 12: 193 lbs
    September 13: 188 lbs
September 14: 185.5 lbs Well it took 3 days to go down 8lbs. Sometimes I wonder if Daily tracking is helpful. But knowledge is power.

Something's gone seriously wrong this past week and I need to put this behind me and get back on track. I'm still hoping it's sodium and carbs, but would like to at least end the month below 103kg!

    9/26: 207.3
    9/27: 206.6

@ashleycarole I am so sorry to hear you are experiencing work stress, it’s no joke and can make or break a day. I know you are one tough chickie but you’ve got us to lean on if you need it!

    SEPTEMBER
    Initial Starting Weight: 225.2
    September Starting Weight: 210.6
    September Goal Weight: 205.6
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 180.0

I am late to the game, but weigh every day due to heart failure and fluid issues. I am finally making a daily weight check part of my morning routine (It had been doctors advice for a couple of years now but I just could not get in the routine of it)

For reference, I am 55f, 5'11" tall, and August 1st got back to a low carb menu in my house after losing a bunch and gaining it back 2 years ago.

    SEPTEMBER GOALS (DAILY):
    ⚖️ Weigh in
👟 Walk 5,500+ steps (Starting September 15th- nice to add something to the daily goal)

    DAILY LOG:
    September 1:210.6
    September 2:211
    September 3:210.2
    September 4:209.4

My start weight today is 189 lbs. My goal is to get back to 180 lbs.
    September 1: 189 lbs
September 7: 186 lbs. Wednesday regular weigh-in. So down 3lbs have 6 more to go.
    September 8: 186 lbs
    September 9: 184.5 lbs
    September 10:
    September 11: 193.5 lbs
No typo. How do I gain 9lbs in less than 48 hours. Food intake the same. This can be so discouraging. I am lost for words.
    September 12: 193 lbs
    September 13: 188 lbs
September 14: 185.5 lbs Well it took 3 days to go down 8lbs. Sometimes I wonder if Daily tracking is helpful. But knowledge is power.

09/27-198.4-(Trend Weight 198.8)- I found out the dental procedure will be 4 steps. Step 2 is Oct 4th. I’m shocked at the slight drop after travel on the scale today. Hmmm….I’m sure it’s coming. It was a bad day overall in every way.

Sep 26 - 169 (Didn't cry today from work related stress, so I'll consider that a win. Night consisted of a 60 minute Peloton ride, a healthy fish dinner, and TV with my husband and Mom. So nice.)
Sep 27 - 169.2 (Happy for so many days under 170. Working my way back to my maintenance zone. I've been on plan for many days in a row now.)
