I've been thinking about starting Keto. I will discuss it with my neurologist first, since I have epilepsy that's been getting harder to manage, but I've heard it can be good for epilepsy and weight loss. Can anyone tell me about the diet? Any good resources for a beginner? I cook for me, my husband, and my 3yo. The baby will be starting table foods next month.

I can tell you a fair bit. Keto is basically low carb. I can verify that yes it’s good for weight loss amongst other things such epilepsy.
Very simple. Lots of meat, fish and low carb veg. You want to consume anywhere between 25-50 grams of carbs. You can check the number of each item on this app which should super useful.
Any questions do ask0 -
I believe the fat percentage is higher for treating epilepsy than the standard keto diet and there will be nutrient deficiencies that need to be covered and I suggest this gets managed by your neurologist before you attempt it.5

Do ask your neurologist.
Also, there may be relevant info in the Low Carb group, as there are lots of keto-ers there.
