I am new here. Was a WW member for a long time and I am ready for a new beginning and hoping that this new way of counting calories instead of points will work better for me I went and saw a dietitian and it was so very helpful.

Welcome to the MFP Community!
There seem to be multiple people here who've found calorie counting to be more helpful than counting WW points, because the WW points are trying to influence your nutrition in addition to your calorie intake, and that can muddy the waters some. Here, you can consider each of those things separately, and find the balance that you personally need. (I'm not one of those people, but I've seen their posts. I'm a non-WW person, used MFP to lose, now to maintain weight.)
Wishing you much success!
