This week has gone by so fast! I've been feeling so fatigued lately, I don't know what's up but am thinking of making a doc appointment if it continues because I'm fed up with feeling slow and cold and down all the time. As predicted, I'm seeing my losses slow down now. I was trying to decide whether to adjust my weight loss goal for this challenge as I don't think 2lbs a week is realistic and I don't want to be demoralised by it, but I have decided to leave it as it is and see where I end up. If i lose 10lb rather than 15, that's still amazing!

It's going slowly, but at least it's going! I think that at this point I really can't chance even one treat meal or slack day per week if I want to have any hope of losing 0.5 lbs a week. Not great for socialising!
My energy levels are feeling a lot better. Probably a combination of sunny days, getting past my totm, going to the gym, cutting alcohol out entirely, partially switching back to caffeinated coffee, taking multi vitamins (I have got some vit D which I started taking yesterday along with vit B and magnesium plus a multi vit), drinking more water, and generally feeling more positive. Yay!
I'm miles away from my weekly goals that I calculated based on a 2lb per week loss, hey ho. So it's going to take me 4 times as long to get to a healthy weight? Yikes. I should get there (143lbs) by my 43rd birthday at the end of August, so long as I stick at it...

Finally seeing some decent progress, especially in the last few days. I have been drinking much more water and have begun strength training alongside cardio in the hope of stimulating my metabolism. I had my TSH levels checked, 4.09, so just within the normal range but something to keep an eye on. Feeling hopeful for the week ahead, the longer days are lifting my spirits! It's been a positive week, I've been getting into a groove with my exercise habits, thanks in part to my new smart watch with lots of fun features providing motivation.
I've also been tweaking my calories and macros so that I'm getting more fuel and protein as I'm concerned that I've been losing lots of muscle through having too low calories and too many carbs. Drinking tons of water too, so I'm feeling a lot more alert and healthy.
A week and a bit left to go of this challenge, no chance of making my goal, which is a lesson for me in setting unrealistic targets! I'll be happy to finish the 100 having lost over 10lbs, but a little more would be nice too π

So sorry to hear this. Most of us are up and down, I wish that you wouldn't give up, but of course it is your decision. You had some very good results, but I get how disheartening it is when it goes "south".

Day 97-03/02-193.2-(Trend weight 192.8) WTH? I had a GREAT day yesterday! My carbs were good but my calories were a little low 2 days in a row. Either the other day caught up with the scale, or I will have to make sure I reach my calorie goal. I canβt blame bloat. I took my water pill yesterday. My new scale put me exactly the same as yesterday (though it runs heavier than my old one, which isnβt really old.) My βoldβ scale has me up to this weight. Wow! I know I did not have the greatest calorie burn yesterday as I had a lot of sit down work, but I did get in one 30 minute dance session. Disheartening. Travel today to rehab. Cold & Snowy.

Day 91 β 2/25 - 140.4 - I feel like it is just Covid burning calories as my body is trying to stave it off. I did get in a whole bunch of Fitness Marshall songs somehow in a haze. Considering that I can barely stand up this is weird. Gov.ca says to try to get physical activity in to help with Covid recovery. Not sure if I will get any in today, we'll see. Not putting any pressure on myself except to drink water. I have lost a significant amount of pounds in a few days. This might come right back when I am healthy again, but in the meantime I am very happy to see the drop.
Day 92 β 2/26 - 139.8 - I changed things up so much yesterday. Such low energy and exhaustion with the Covid that I wanted to try to eat some carbs. I made pasta (brown rice/spinach linguine) with my own garlic, oregano, sour cream and some shredded parmesan. I so rarely eat pasta, not a huge fan, but I felt like my body needed it for some reason. It was delicious, I made enough to have today also. Ready to go back to bed even though I am hungry. It seems like too much effort at the moment, I will at least try to have some toast or something and eat later. Happy to hit the 130s even though the higher end. Even in Mexico when I was drinking Margaritas and eating all of the yummy foods I never went above 138.1. I hope that the weight doesn't come back on when the Covid stops eating all of my calories. Not sure how I ever got back into the 140s at all.
Day 93 β 2/27 - 140.0 - Up a touch, hopefully that means that I am going to start to get better. Very tired, hard to stay awake, but giving myself the chance to sleep or at least just lie down. 4 full days have passed now since I tested positive. I am almost always asleep during the time that I would normally be at work.
Day 94 β 2/28 - 142.2 - Major re-feed yesterday. No regrets on that except for the scale of course. Really ready to start feeling better, but in a haze.
Day 95 β 3/1 - 141.6 - Still dizzy and exhausted. I am going to force myself to go put some clothes on and go outside for some fresh air and Sun vitamin D. Took out some healthy foods for a dinner later, had some oatmeal this morning, trying to give myself nutrition.
Day 96 β 3/2 - 142.0 - I ate 2 dinners last night. I am still trying to get some strength and stamina back.
Day 97 β 3/3 - 141.0 - I made enough dinner for 3 nights, re-visited the spinach rice pasta with lots of my own garlic, 1/4c shredded parm in the entire thing, and italian spices. Salad to go with it.

This week has gone by so fast! I've been feeling so fatigued lately, I don't know what's up but am thinking of making a doc appointment if it continues because I'm fed up with feeling slow and cold and down all the time. As predicted, I'm seeing my losses slow down now. I was trying to decide whether to adjust my weight loss goal for this challenge as I don't think 2lbs a week is realistic and I don't want to be demoralised by it, but I have decided to leave it as it is and see where I end up. If i lose 10lb rather than 15, that's still amazing!

My energy levels are feeling a lot better. Probably a combination of sunny days, getting past my totm, going to the gym, cutting alcohol out entirely, partially switching back to caffeinated coffee, taking multi vitamins (I have got some vit D which I started taking yesterday along with vit B and magnesium plus a multi vit), drinking more water, and generally feeling more positive. Yay!
I'm miles away from my weekly goals that I calculated based on a 2lb per week loss, hey ho. So it's going to take me 4 times as long to get to a healthy weight? Yikes. I should get there (143lbs) by my 43rd birthday at the end of August, so long as I stick at it...

It's been a positive week, I've been getting into a groove with my exercise habits, thanks in part to my new smart watch with lots of fun features providing motivation.
I've also been tweaking my calories and macros so that I'm getting more fuel and protein as I'm concerned that I've been losing lots of muscle through having too low calories and too many carbs. Drinking tons of water too, so I'm feeling a lot more alert and healthy.
A week and a bit left to go of this challenge, no chance of making my goal, which is a lesson for me in setting unrealistic targets! I'll be happy to finish the 100 having lost over 10lbs, but a little more would be nice too π

@dawnbgethealthy I'm not sure that there is any other way except manually. That's how I do mine also. I usually work on the next round a few days at a time during the current round. When they changed the dates up on this last one by one day I wasn't redoing it all. That's why mine was 101 days last time. Yours is on track so I am grateful!0 -

My Name is Donna, Age 62. I am 5β5β tall & I live in Northern Michigan USA
My mini-challenge is to lose 10 pounds by Easter 2023. I started my efforts on Dec. 10th weighing 198.4. My wish is to weigh 188.4 by Easter April 9th, 2023. That gives me about 4 months to lose 10 pounds. Sounds easy but, trust me, it wonβt be. Especially when outside exercise is so limited for me this slippery time of year!

I am pre-logging, sipping on my water and planning some indoor exercise today. I babysat DGS until about 11:30 pm last night. I managed to keep the diet good but no exercise as I donβt have 20 straight minutes for ANYTHING when he is here. My daughter doesnβt work today so the day BELONGS to ME! No excuses! Only 2 more weigh-in days until the end of this round. I plan on seeing a drop both days. I want to get back closer to the 180βs again. Oh, how I would love to scratch off another decade on the top of this post! I need the turquoise GONE and I need to be working down the green!

Day 98 - March 04 - 141.6 - I thought it would be a lot more, I got pizza delivery from Dominos last night because there was a 50% of pizza coupon in my mailbox. Power of suggestion? I tried the gluten free crust, and a normal crust, each with different toppings (both small 10"). Both delicious. I tried not to eat too much of them, I am going to wrap the remaining slices individually and put them in the freezer.

Day 39: 01/03 - 230.2 (@ 2am) - Back on track. Journal every bite, 80oz water, AF, packed away all the Christmas decor into the attic (lots of stairs). Decided that for January I will strive for lower carb days (not Keto) and cut out candy, cookies and bread but retain rice, potatoes and pasta in my menu planning.
Day 40: 01/04 - 230.4 (@ 4am) - Journal, 80oz water, AF, Strength Training 1 hr, walked to the library and the mail box twice (3.2 miles).
Day 41: 01/05 - 229.2 (@ 4:30am) - Journal, 64oz water, 2 wine, played with granddaughter all day which led to no snacking and pushing her new little tikes car .3 miles. DH bought groceries while I was out. REALLY wanted cookies after dinner but gave myself a good talking to and had black coffee instead.
Day 42: 01/06 - 229.0 - Journal, 48oz water, AF, Strength Training 1 hr, no walk. Broke my bread plan β¦ avocado rye toast w/ poached egg for breakfast and then ate the biscuit with Popeyeβs fried chicken at lunch. But skipped rice with the gumbo and had no bread or crackers with it for dinner to try to lower my carbs for the day instead of tossing the towel in completely. DH thought I was crazy skipping the rice for the gumbo but it felt good to make that tradeoff given my choices earlier in the day.

Day 59: 01/23 - 231.2 - Walked 1.3 miles. AF. Spent the day digging in boxes and looking for easter pics of my kids for seasonal frame area Iβve created this year. I found 5 pics between the years 1992-1998! My adult children were so little. My kids keep asking who their kids take after. This has been a fun project. It also helps for me to see how thin I was after 3 kids ... and to think I thought I was fat back then!

Day 66: 01/30 - 232.2 - Rainy day. Decorated the outside of my home for Mardi Gras, Swedish Death Cleaning the kitchen β¦ getting rid of so much stuff I never use or really need to replace. But I did bake a carrot cake which is half gone between DH, my sister and I.
Day 67: 01/31 - 234.2 - Photography class nature walk and Strength Training class cannot offset 3 pieces of carrot cake (breakfast, lunch, dinner) + pizza for dinner. Granddaughter is still throwing up since last Tuesday even on anti-nausea meds. She saw the doc again on Monday. Iβm heading over there to give my daughter some relief so she can go to work and begin her new commercial design project that has been delayed due to her caring for the little one.
Day 68: 02/01 - 234.4 - Little activity outside of taking care of my granddaughter while she is sick.

Day 75: 02/08 - 229.9 - Busy day yesterday! Granddaughter dropped by with her parents to drop off dogs before their road trip. Taught an ever expanding ESL class. I now have 13-14 students for level 2. Then cooked a nice dinner for lunch for DH since I was going out in the evening. Mix Media art class in the afternoon. Then the wonderful cooking class with my daughter in the evening returning home around 10pm. We had a table of 4 and the pictures I posted were my share of our efforts β¦ felt stuffed. Brought home 1/2 the steak and DH enjoyed a 2nd late dinner.
Day 76: 02/09 - 229.8 - Cleaned out 5 more cabinets in my house. Decided all the old bar glasses in one cabinet that came from here there and yonder could go and kept only a few styles that I like. So this was a large paper sack of breakables that no one ever used is now gone.
Day 77: 02/10 - 230.2 - Walked 1 mile. Expensive 30K mile car maintenance done so Iβm ready for a roadtrip with my sister next weekend. Breakfast out with DH which was fun β¦ it has been a while since we did that. Taught ESL. Yard work. Nice beautiful day here.
Day 78: 02/11 - 229.7 - Walked 1 + .7 miles. Hours of gardening cleaning out the rose bed where weeds and grass had taken over!

This week has gone by so fast! I've been feeling so fatigued lately, I don't know what's up but am thinking of making a doc appointment if it continues because I'm fed up with feeling slow and cold and down all the time. As predicted, I'm seeing my losses slow down now. I was trying to decide whether to adjust my weight loss goal for this challenge as I don't think 2lbs a week is realistic and I don't want to be demoralised by it, but I have decided to leave it as it is and see where I end up. If i lose 10lb rather than 15, that's still amazing!

It's going slowly, but at least it's going! I think that at this point I really can't chance even one treat meal or slack day per week if I want to have any hope of losing 0.5 lbs a week. Not great for socialising!
My energy levels are feeling a lot better. Probably a combination of sunny days, getting past my totm, going to the gym, cutting alcohol out entirely, partially switching back to caffeinated coffee, taking multi vitamins (I have got some vit D which I started taking yesterday along with vit B and magnesium plus a multi vit), drinking more water, and generally feeling more positive. Yay!
I'm miles away from my weekly goals that I calculated based on a 2lb per week loss, hey ho. So it's going to take me 4 times as long to get to a healthy weight? Yikes. I should get there (143lbs) by my 43rd birthday at the end of August, so long as I stick at it...

Finally seeing some decent progress, especially in the last few days. I have been drinking much more water and have begun strength training alongside cardio in the hope of stimulating my metabolism. I had my TSH levels checked, 4.09, so just within the normal range but something to keep an eye on. Feeling hopeful for the week ahead, the longer days are lifting my spirits! It's been a positive week, I've been getting into a groove with my exercise habits, thanks in part to my new smart watch with lots of fun features providing motivation.
I've also been tweaking my calories and macros so that I'm getting more fuel and protein as I'm concerned that I've been losing lots of muscle through having too low calories and too many carbs. Drinking tons of water too, so I'm feeling a lot more alert and healthy.
A week and a bit left to go of this challenge, no chance of making my goal, which is a lesson for me in setting unrealistic targets! I'll be happy to finish the 100 having lost over 10lbs, but a little more would be nice too π

I tried the gluten free crust, and a normal crust, each with different toppings (both small 10"). Both delicious. I tried not to eat too much of them, I am going to wrap the remaining slices individually and put them in the freezer.

I managed to keep the diet good but no exercise as I donβt have 20 straight minutes for ANYTHING when he is here. My daughter doesnβt work today so the day BELONGS to ME! No excuses! Only 2 more weigh-in days until the end of this round. I plan on seeing a drop both days. I want to get back closer to the 180βs again. This week has gone by so fast! I've been feeling so fatigued lately, I don't know what's up but am thinking of making a doc appointment if it continues because I'm fed up with feeling slow and cold and down all the time. As predicted, I'm seeing my losses slow down now. I was trying to decide whether to adjust my weight loss goal for this challenge as I don't think 2lbs a week is realistic and I don't want to be demoralised by it, but I have decided to leave it as it is and see where I end up. If i lose 10lb rather than 15, that's still amazing!

It's going slowly, but at least it's going! I think that at this point I really can't chance even one treat meal or slack day per week if I want to have any hope of losing 0.5 lbs a week. Not great for socialising!
My energy levels are feeling a lot better. Probably a combination of sunny days, getting past my totm, going to the gym, cutting alcohol out entirely, partially switching back to caffeinated coffee, taking multi vitamins (I have got some vit D which I started taking yesterday along with vit B and magnesium plus a multi vit), drinking more water, and generally feeling more positive. Yay!
I'm miles away from my weekly goals that I calculated based on a 2lb per week loss, hey ho. So it's going to take me 4 times as long to get to a healthy weight? Yikes. I should get there (143lbs) by my 43rd birthday at the end of August, so long as I stick at it...

Finally seeing some decent progress, especially in the last few days. I have been drinking much more water and have begun strength training alongside cardio in the hope of stimulating my metabolism. It's been a positive week, I've been getting into a groove with my exercise habits, thanks in part to my new smart watch with lots of fun features providing motivation.
I've also been tweaking my calories and macros so that I'm getting more fuel and protein as I'm concerned that I've been losing lots of muscle through having too low calories and too many carbs. Drinking tons of water too, so I'm feeling a lot more alert and healthy.
A week and a bit left to go of this challenge, no chance of making my goal, which is a lesson for me in setting unrealistic targets! I'll be happy to finish the 100 having lost over 10lbs, but a little more would be nice too π

Well, overall I'm happy with how I got on with this challenge. I joined half way through so this is the result from 51 days. I had times when my weight wasn't going anywhere, despite giving it 100% effort and at times I got disheartened. The last couple weeks things have been working better and the pounds have been coming off easier. More water, upped my calories a bit, started strength training and I feel much more energetic and healthy. The last 2 days things have gone a bit wonky, I guess just aftermath from the weekend, so hopefully I can get into the 140s soon. See everyone in #15 xxπ

Day 101-03/06β¦..(Final Weigh- In)-191.2-(trend weight 193.0) I had to cancel the travel to cardiac rehab today due to the abundant snow coming down. I do much better on the diet without the travel so today should be another good day. I have been getting a little lax on exercise. Iβve been finding things to do that arenβt as βhardβ as my usual routines. Time to get rid of the Lazies and get back to the Grind. Time to get my toushie moving! This has been a fair round for me. I am grateful for the progress and the loss of 5 pounds in 101 days. However, Our challenge is for over 3 months and many more than that in just one month, so it reminds me that I need to be more consistent. Gosh, this is hard to do!
