I want to see how much I can lose, starting off with something relatively easy, 50 grams a day. Each 20 day block I want to increase the amount I lose each day. Goal day is calculated using 7 day averages most recently and a month ago.

Starting Weight (from End of Last Challenge): : 196.2
Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.
Day 01-11/26-196.6-(Trend weight 198.1) I’m starting my challenge on the day after the last one ended. I had already typed it out and don’t feel like changing 100 dates lol. My challenge will be for 101 days this time around. I’m very pleased with this weight today as I go into Turkey Day for my family. Yesterday was a lot of baking. I always seem to show a gain if I eat all 3 meals and yesterday I did eat 3, even though they were all “diet” and within plan. I think the slight gain is mainly from the one cupcake I gave into and all the spoon licking, as well as incorporating lunch (about 350 calories). Today will be very tempting. Tomorrow will likely show a gain but I will try to watch portion sizes (even if I’m over calorie because of all the choices.) Because it’s not a “diet”, it’s a lifestyle, today is a great day to practice eating with good judgment, staying attuned to my hunger cues, and eat smaller amounts at a time. It’s also okay if the pies and desserts wait a couple of hours after dinner. What the heck is the hurry?
Day 02-11/27-197.6-(Trend weight 198.0) Only one pound gained after my Thanksgiving feast yesterday. I’ll take it! It makes me feel very firmly planted in Onederland but I don’t want to keep typing my weight in blue, I need to get back to pink so it’s time to turn this ship around. I gain every winter and lose every summer. This winter I am committed to not gaining between December and May. December may be rough but I think the overall picture and plan is doable.

My kitchen and dining nook reno is almost done. Here are some pics.
Notice the bluish sculptured carpet from the dining side (yes carpet in the dining room!) meeting right up to the red patterned flat carpet in the kitchen (right where the ugly cold register floor vent is).
Dark drab cabinets. Dark red wallpaper! This was my kitchen. It has a very small footprint and the last thing it needed was such darkness!
We are almost done. Tile is not grouted, final paint on cabinets and ceiling need to be done. Some trim work is still incomplete and a heater vent is to be moved. I will probably paint the bay window white (including the grids). The table you see is temporary since it's the only one with a leaf for all the holiday gatherings. I have another that matches furniture from the nearby open livingroom.
Otherwise, yay!!!! I will post more later after the window and other things are done. I prolly won't get to that project until after Christmas. I am also going to be switching the kitchen from red to blue so the rug is temporary. That will happen early next year as I begin to accumulate my blue items.

Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.
Day 01 - 11/27 - 142.2 - 4 late nights at the restaurant plus 9 jobs for Foster Grant to fit into the mornings, breaks, and after the restaurant. Whew. Going to really have to have all of my food prepped. Working on a Gumbo and a Jambalaya for the work week dinners when I get home.

Day 03-11/28-196.6-(Trend weight 197.9) I woke up today feeling yucky. I had some leftover pumpkin cheesecake yesterday and I ate dinner way too late (again), so my acid reflux is giving me grief! But I also woke up with this wonderful premonition of being in the 160’s (my goal is high 140’s), and having my weight teetering after a big Holiday dinner near 170 pounds and being worried that I was going to tip the scale upward in the new yucky decade. What a great feeling to worry that my scale might hit 170 after a feast and not 200! I can do this, that’s the message I was getting.

Day 01-11/26-196.6-(Trend weight 198.1) I’m starting my challenge on the day after the last one ended. I had already typed it out and don’t feel like changing 100 dates lol. My challenge will be for 101 days this time around.

Day 03-11/28-196.6-(Trend weight 197.9) I woke up today feeling yucky. I had some leftover pumpkin cheesecake yesterday and I ate dinner way too late (again), so my acid reflux is giving me grief! But I also woke up with this wonderful premonition of being in the 160’s (my goal is high 140’s), and having my weight teetering after a big Holiday dinner near 170 pounds and being worried that I was going to tip the scale upward in the new yucky decade. What a great feeling to worry that my scale might hit 170 after a feast and not 200! I can do this, that’s the message I was getting.
Day 04-11/29-198.4-(Trend weight 197.9) An expected bloat day. I was under calorie in diet and average in calorie burn/movement. Tomorrow is a travel day to cardiology. I hope to find out more about what the plan is for the Doppler tests I flunked on my legs. I imagine they will want me to see a vascular doctor but we shall see.

Day 01 - 11/27 - 142.2 - 4 late nights at the restaurant plus 9 jobs for Foster Grant to fit into the mornings, breaks, and after the restaurant. Whew. Going to really have to have all of my food prepped. Working on a Gumbo and a Jambalaya for the work week dinners when I get home.

Day 05-11/30-196.2-(Trend weight 197.8) Back down to my non-waterlogged weight and the weight prior to Thanksgiving dinner I had Saturday so I’m pleased. I am traveling today to cardiologist but cancelled tomorrow’s trip due to something important coming in the mail that requires a signature. I started my Christmas decorating yesterday afternoon. It’s moving right along. I’ll be working Thursday and Friday to finish it all up.

Day 04 - 11/30 - 143.2 - Having a tough time finding the time for the forums, still tracking everything
Day 05 - 12/01 - 143.0 - Drinking black coffee today, I normally put a tablespoon of half and half in each cup, but as I was pouring it in the tablespoon it was...thick lol. Ugh. It's okay. I have to type in all of my inventories and orders from Foster Grant stores this morning before the restaurant. Yesterday was my only day to not have a split shift at the restaurant, so I got lots done on my other jobs, many yet to do this week. Oh, I just realized that we won't be ending on a Saturday this round. That makes me happy, since Friday nights are usually when I allow myself a little variance in my eating. I am also going to try to add rice back into my everyday to soak up stuff in my gut. Lots of Gumbo and Jambalaya portioned out for dinners this week, rice will be a nice addition to that.

I want to see how much I can lose, starting off with something relatively easy, 50 grams a day. Each 20 day block I want to increase the amount I lose each day. Goal day is calculated using 7 day averages most recently and a month ago.
Day 01 27-Nov 88.2 kg, goal day in 715 days, so I overate, but that's alright because I always overeat the day I restart my weight loss
Day 02 28-Nov 88.5, goal day in 780 days, I overate again, I guess this is why my weight loss is very slow
Day 03 29-Nov 88.2, goal day in 650 days, I ate too much unfortunately
Day 04 30-Nov 88.1, goal day in 630 days, I didn't overeat, but I think I didn't eat below maintenance

Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.
Day 01 - 11/27 - 142.2 - 4 late nights at the restaurant plus 9 jobs for Foster Grant to fit into the mornings, breaks, and after the restaurant. Whew. Going to really have to have all of my food prepped. Working on a Gumbo and a Jambalaya for the work week dinners when I get home.
Day 02 - 11/28 - DNW

Day 06 - 143.2 - Oops...guess that I missed day 6, so yeah, we are always going to be ending on a Saturday morning even if I don't like it : - ). I don't have my work schedule for next week yet, but 4 nights of late eating is definitely not good for my waistline. I do need the $$ though, so there is that lol.

Day 01-11/26-196.6-(Trend weight 198.1) I’m starting my challenge on the day after the last one ended. I had already typed it out and don’t feel like changing 100 dates lol. My challenge will be for 101 days this time around.

Day 04-11/29-198.4-(Trend weight 197.9) An expected bloat day. I was under calorie in diet and average in calorie burn/movement. Tomorrow is a travel day to cardiology. I hope to find out more about what the plan is for the Doppler tests I flunked on my legs. I imagine they will want me to see a vascular doctor but we shall see.
Day 05-11/30-196.2-(Trend weight 197.8) Back down to my non-waterlogged weight and the weight prior to Thanksgiving dinner I had Saturday so I’m pleased. I am traveling today to cardiologist but cancelled tomorrow’s trip due to something important coming in the mail that requires a signature. I started my Christmas decorating yesterday afternoon. It’s moving right along. I’ll be working Thursday and Friday to finish it all up.
Day 06-12/01-198.4-(Trend weight 197.8) I’m back to last bloat weight but this time it’s also after travel so I will take that as a win. Cardiology appt went well yesterday. My neck arteries sounded good, no need to Doppler. My bad leg Doppler test is not good, but not bad enough yet to see a vascular surgeon so that was wonderful news as I was afraid of surgery. Basically, because I blocked in the heart and needed a stent, they worry about other blockages within the body, but they are keeping an eye on it. They are hoping the cholesterol has went down (with new meds) and will be scheduling a re-check on that within next 90 days. That will help stop blockages if we see improvement. Overall, I’m happy with how it went and I don’t have to go back for 6 months!!! Now, to watch my fats and cholesterol causing foods. It’s going to be hard to juggle a diabetic diet and a heart diet at the same time. I gotta figure this out.

I am glad that the cardiologist appointment went well. Does that mean that you don't have to go traveling all of the time for therapy/treatment? Did they discuss what exercise to avoid? Cholesterol is a new one, geez, that is going to be tough to figure out what to eat! Sorry that they have added yet another med to your life, but it sounds important.
Roads are not going to be great in Michigan soon and until spring, so that is great if you don't have to go. You have been doing so great with your moderation of the food choices when you do have to travel.

You seem to be on a great track to get your health improved. With decreased weight will come improved...everything, maybe even eradication of the diabetes.
Past a certain age weight loss is not as much about vanity as it is to getting to a healthy body weight so that we don't put a strain on our organs, joints, skeleton, etc.. I know that it has been a mindset change for me anyway as I have aged. Not that vanity is gone lol.
Glad that your daughter is coming around to help you with things. Maybe you will have a sit down with her about your health scares and how difficult it is for you if she brings food around that could kill you.1 -

Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.
Day 01 - 11/27 - 142.2 - 4 late nights at the restaurant plus 9 jobs for Foster Grant to fit into the mornings, breaks, and after the restaurant. Whew. Going to really have to have all of my food prepped. Working on a Gumbo and a Jambalaya for the work week dinners when I get home.
Day 02 - 11/28 - DNW
Day 03 - 11/29 - 145.2 - leftover gain from Friday or Saturday?
Day 04 - 11/30 - 143.2 - Having a tough time finding the time for the forums, still tracking everything
Day 05 - 12/01 - 143.0 - Drinking black coffee today, I normally put a tablespoon of half and half in each cup, but as I was pouring it in the tablespoon it was...thick lol. Ugh. It's okay. I have to type in all of my inventories and orders from Foster Grant stores this morning before the restaurant. Yesterday was my only day to not have a split shift at the restaurant, so I got lots done on my other jobs, many yet to do this week. Oh, I just realized that we won't be ending on a Saturday this round. That makes me happy, since Friday nights are usually when I allow myself a little variance in my eating. I am also going to try to add rice back into my everyday to soak up stuff in my gut. Lots of Gumbo and Jambalaya portioned out for dinners this week, rice will be a nice addition to that.
Day 06 - 143.2 - Oops...guess that I missed typing in day 6, so yeah, we are always going to be ending on a Saturday morning even if I don't like it : - ). I don't have my work schedule for next week yet, but 4 nights of late eating is definitely not good for my waistline. I do need the $$ though, so there is that lol.
I suppose that I could do the 100 in 10X10 day increments if I wanted to.
Day 07 - 12/03 - Argh, I am so mixed up with my dates and days!!! So I guess this is ... Day 06? Lol, I have 7 weigh days somehow but this should only be day 6 now. Too tired and I have yet another split shift with a late night today.
