    Day 25-12/20-198.6-(Trend weight 198.2) Yesterday was horrid. My blood pressure dropped way too low at rehab. I had to stay an extra two hours to see if I would need to go through emergency. Exercise was so much easier when I was younger and healthier. I could choose what I wanted. Dieting was so much easier before diabetes and heart started dictating my foods. I hope everyone who still has choices and opportunities will grab them. This is why I am sharing. Starting to get a bad cold this morning too. Don’t worry, I should feel much better after more coffee.  However, they are even trying to take THAT away from me. Yeah, good luck with that!


    Day 26-12/21-199.8-(Trend weight 198.3) I had to cancel rehab this morning. This cold got worse and worse yesterday. Ended up on the couch under covers. Less than 3000 steps for the entire day. Today a sore throat decided to join in. Not sure why so much weight gain. I know there was a huge lack of activity but I thought the diet (not perfect) wasn’t too off-point but I could be wrong. Hopefully it is just all this snot. (Wow, isn’t that a nasty sounding word?) Back on the couch again today but I’ve absolutely got to get better in time for Christmas. I still need to bake.

    Oh my, yes you don't want to be passing that cold on to your loved ones. Hope that you can flush it out.

    I too got a cold, I had barely gotten over the flu. I hate doing to the Dayquil to get through work. I had to take something to go to bed last night, my nose was running so much - Nyquil, which will likely leave me groggy for the day,
    As I mentioned, I put on about 4 pounds having the flu and not eating, so hoping that your jump in weight is also your body just trying to keep fat.

    Of course you couldn't make the travel to rehab.
    That is terrible that it resulted in too low of blood pressure, but at least you were in a health unit at the time.

    An old singer's trick is to have nothing but water with citrus and clear tea. Do I do that now? Nope, but I did back in the day when I needed to be able to go on stage with it dried up so that I could sing.

    Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.

    1st Week Goal Weight - 139.9
    1st Week Actual Weight - 141.2 Started the week at 142.2
    Excess calories burned (in the green): 4738 - average over 7 days 834

    2nd Week Goal Weight - 141.0
    2nd Week Actual Weight - 142.2 - Started the week at 143.0
    Excess calories burned (in the green): Forgot to add this earlier - 4948 = 706.85 average over 7 days.

    3rd Week Goal Weight: 139.4 - (Ambitious)
    3rd Week Actual Weight: 144.2 - Somehow put on 3 pounds while down sick for 1 day! Started the week at 142.4
    Excess calories burned (In the green): 6063 = 866.14 average over 7 days - Really big calorie burn this past week except for the day that I was sick

    Day 22 – 12/18 - 143.6 - Really expected to be a lot less this morning. Maybe my body doesn't want to let it go even though I am feeling better from the flu? Going to have a homemade burger and my own potatoes for dinner tonight. I have been watching the Fifa final this morning, into overtime now, very exciting!
    Day 23 – 12/19 - 145.4 - OMG!! Just going to stay the course. I was veering around 141.0 last week. Minus 20 here right now, going up to a balmy minus 17 for the afternoon. No extra outdoor activity for me this week.
    Day 24 – 12/20 - 143.4 - Happy for the lighter workweek, just 2 split shifts coming up, so that I can have dinner at a reasonable hour.
    Day 25 – 12/21 - 143.4 - Back to grilled chicken and veggies at a reasonable hour. Splits tonight and tomorrow night, but I will leave work as soon as I can because I am sick with a cold.

    I want to see how much I can lose, starting off with something relatively easy, 50 grams a day. Each 20 day block I want to increase the amount I lose each day. Goal day is calculated using 7 day averages most recently and a month ago.

    Day 01 27-Nov 88.2 kg, goal day in 715 days, so I overate, but that's alright because I always overeat the day I restart my weight loss
    Day 02 28-Nov 88.5, goal day in 780 days, I overate again, I guess this is why my weight loss is very slow
    Day 03 29-Nov 88.2, goal day in 650 days, I ate too much unfortunately
    Day 04 30-Nov 88.1, goal day in 630 days, I didn't overeat, but I think I didn't eat below maintenance
    Day 05 1-Dec 87.6, goal day in 660 days
    I was doing well throughout the day then I bought a large bag of chips unexpectedly
    Day 06 2-Dec 88.7 goal day in 850 days, and I bought sausage and chips in the evening, I guess I should have predicted that, rather than overeating. I will see if I can eat below maintenance everyday until I can get back on track
    Day 07 3-Dec 89.0, goal day in 1070 days, I ate under maintenance and didn't have any salt

It's a constant reminder that if I am ever to achieve my goals I'm going to have to start today. So I'm going to aim for a 3 grams per day trendline reduction on my weights spreadsheet graph today. Tomorrow will be 6 grams a day etc etc. Currently it's 4.6 grams per day although that number will jiggle up and down a lot which is fine.

    2012, my 1st diet—230.8, got down to 180s then relapsed.

    @dawnbgethealthy Thanks for the citrus and tea tip. I'll try it. It is definitely the runny nose that is the most annoying. It also makes my head feel like it's in a cloud floating off somewhere. Today I think I am feeling a bit better. We shall see.

    Interesting that you were a singer. I would love to hear more about that when things aren't so busy for you with the holidays and extra shifts you are pulling.

My diet was horrible yesterday. Feed a cold…Starve a fever. I should not have taken it so literally! I overate my diet food which makes it not so “diet” anymore. Ugh!

    Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.

    Day 22 – 12/18 - 143.6 - Really expected to be a lot less this morning. Maybe my body doesn't want to let it go even though I am feeling better from the flu? Going to have a homemade burger and my own potatoes for dinner tonight. I have been watching the Fifa final this morning, into overtime now, very exciting!
    Day 23 – 12/19 - 145.4 - OMG!! Just going to stay the course. I was veering around 141.0 last week. Minus 20 here right now, going up to a balmy minus 17 for the afternoon. No extra outdoor activity for me this week.
    Day 24 – 12/20 - 143.4 - Happy for the lighter workweek, just 2 split shifts coming up, so that I can have dinner at a reasonable hour.
    Day 25 – 12/21 - 143.4 - Back to grilled chicken and veggies at a reasonable hour. Splits tonight and tomorrow night, but I will leave work as soon as I can because I am sick with a cold.
    Day 26 – 12/22 - 142.2 - Nyquil and Neo Citran have been my night time friends once I get off of work. I am taking Dayquil to get through the work day. Minus 35 here this morning! I would rather lay in my warm bed than try to go to work for a split shift. Very happy that I did all of that cooking and portioning starting at harvest time, no energy to do much more than microwave. I took a Jambalaya out of the freezer to have tonight. (I made around 40 of those).

    I want to see how much I can lose, starting off with something relatively easy, 50 grams a day. Each 20 day block I want to increase the amount I lose each day. Goal day is calculated using 7 day averages most recently and a month ago.

    Day 01 27-Nov 88.2 kg, goal day in 715 days, so I overate, but that's alright because I always overeat the day I restart my weight loss
    Day 02 28-Nov 88.5, goal day in 780 days, I overate again, I guess this is why my weight loss is very slow
    Day 03 29-Nov 88.2, goal day in 650 days, I ate too much unfortunately
    Day 04 30-Nov 88.1, goal day in 630 days, I didn't overeat, but I think I didn't eat below maintenance

    I was doing well throughout the day then I bought a large bag of chips unexpectedly

Tomorrow will be 6 grams a day etc etc. Currently it's 4.6 grams per day although that number will jiggle up and down a lot which is fine.

    Day 27 – 12/23 - 142.0 - By the time I went to my car to go to work yesterday morning it was 36 degrees below zero, and...my car wouldn't start!! I couldn't find anyone to pick me up so I had to walk to work. That was crazy. And here I have been sick with a cold all week. I couldn't reach any triple A or roadstar that I pay for to get a boost, apparently there was a huge backlog of people's cars that wouldn't start in the extreme cold. One of the chefs from the restaurant will pick me up this morning for work, and at 3:00 I am on days off. I can't go and do my other jobs (Foster Grant) without a car, so I can stay on hold in the afternoon to get a boost, or maybe the weather will warm up enough for my car to start when I get home. It is supposed to be only minus 8 tomorrow afternoon and minus 4 on Christmas Day, so hopefully the car is working to get me to some Cross-Country ski areas.

My weight is up and my trend weight has creeped up too. Definitely a weight gain, not just bloat. It’s all caught up to me. Daughter and DGS here again until Sunday. They arrived yesterday evening. This makes it difficult. I’ve got to keep my eye on the ball! Good luck everyone this round. This is definitely the hardest round of the year for most everyone!

    Well, the last 100 didn't turn out very well for me, gained around 5 pounds.

    1st Week Goal Weight - 139.9
    1st Week Actual Weight - 141.2 Started the week at 142.2
    Excess calories burned (in the green): 4738 - average over 7 days 834

    2nd Week Goal Weight - 141.0
    2nd Week Actual Weight - 142.2 - Started the week at 143.0
    Excess calories burned (in the green): Forgot to add this earlier - 4948 = 706.85 average over 7 days.

    3rd Week Goal Weight: 139.4 - (Ambitious)
    3rd Week Actual Weight: 144.2 - Somehow put on 3 pounds while down sick for 1 day! Started the week at 142.4
    Excess calories burned (In the green): 6063 = 866.14 average over 7 days - Really big calorie burn this past week except for the day that I was sick

    Day 22 – 12/18 - 143.6 - Really expected to be a lot less this morning. Maybe my body doesn't want to let it go even though I am feeling better from the flu? Going to have a homemade burger and my own potatoes for dinner tonight. I have been watching the Fifa final this morning, into overtime now, very exciting!
    Day 23 – 12/19 - 145.4 - OMG!! Just going to stay the course. I was veering around 141.0 last week. Minus 20 here right now, going up to a balmy minus 17 for the afternoon. No extra outdoor activity for me this week.
    Day 24 – 12/20 - 143.4 - Happy for the lighter workweek, just 2 split shifts coming up, so that I can have dinner at a reasonable hour.
    Day 25 – 12/21 - 143.4 - Back to grilled chicken and veggies at a reasonable hour. Splits tonight and tomorrow night, but I will leave work as soon as I can because I am sick with a cold.
    Day 26 – 12/22 - 142.2 - Nyquil and Neo Citran have been my night time friends once I get off of work. I am taking Dayquil to get through the work day. Minus 35 here this morning! I would rather lay in my warm bed than try to go to work for a split shift. Very happy that I did all of that cooking and portioning starting at harvest time, no energy to do much more than microwave. I took a Jambalaya out of the freezer to have tonight. (I made around 40 of those).
    Day 27 – 12/23 - 142.0 - By the time I went to my car to go to work yesterday morning it was 36 degrees below zero, and...my car wouldn't start!! I couldn't find anyone to pick me up so I had to walk to work. That was crazy. And here I have been sick with a cold all week. I couldn't reach any triple A or roadstar that I pay for to get a boost, apparently there was a huge backlog of people's cars that wouldn't start in the extreme cold. One of the chefs from the restaurant will pick me up this morning for work, and at 3:00 I am on days off. I can't go and do my other jobs (Foster Grant) without a car, so I can stay on hold in the afternoon to get a boost, or maybe the weather will warm up enough for my car to start when I get home. It is supposed to be only minus 8 tomorrow afternoon and minus 4 on Christmas Day, so hopefully the car is working to get me to some Cross-Country ski areas.
    Day 28 – 12/24 - 143.8 - Stayed within calories, but ate outside of my usual like I normally do on Friday nights. Planning turkey, stuffing, gravy, brussels, yam, turnip, potatoes, beets every day for a week. I will try to keep the portions reasonable.
