Hi everyone
I joint mfp for the first time in 2014 and love that I can look back and see the roller coaster of my life over that time! I’m 56 and hit 302 and not impressed with myself and it’s time to make changes. I started feb 6 and I’m 295 now. I have for years made different goals and made it close to 200 back in 2008 when I got down to 207 for a minute!
Everyday I write in my food notes my goals for the day which this far are
Track food
Drink only water
Take vitamins
No fast food
Eat at least 4 fruits and veggies
This week I plan to add in short walk 3x per week then next will add 2x a week some weights
I know from past experience the most important thing for me is to want it more than anything else and feel I’m there now for the first time in years !
Looking forward to gaining motivation on here1 -

I am 56 and from Ontario so we are not that far apart in more ways than one! I do not weigh myself everyday, but I will try to report everyday on how things are going. On Tuesday, the 21st I weighed 204.4 pounds. I have just restarted my journey. My plan for exercise is to start with walking, weather permitting, which today, it is not! However, if I focus on housework and accomplishing chores on my to-do list, then I can get my steps in as I live in a two-story house with laundry in the basement! We'll see how motivated I can get today! Hope you have great Thursday!

I'm slightly off my February goal, but I'm fine with that after the week I had. I've learned that I need to prioritize sleep. I'm no good to anyone if I'm running on fumes. Especially with the increase in activity.1 -
Fell off the wagon already! My husband was away overnight on business, which doesn't happen very often. I, however, have not yet developed the self control to be more mindful when I am all alone. Part of it was not being able to get outside to walk. (Instead I sorted papers and watched curling!) No steps, means not enough calories for me to not feel deprived. Are all of these flimsy excuses? Absolutely!!2
