I see a few of you have successfully made the jump to the Part 2 thread already! And welcome to our new & returning movers!
Glad to see some movement already early this morning! We're starting off with 39 in the festive green today, up from 34 yesterday so that's great...even better is that the number of people that hadn't reported any miles yet dropped from 34 to 25!! :drinker:
But you know what I love about this challenge? I love that it isn't about beating anybody else. It's about digging inside and making yourself do the work and win. While I won't lie, it IS pretty impressive to me the people that can run 10 miles a day or add 20+ miles doing whatever...BUT...we are all at different places with our level of fitness and we all have our own personal challenges (be it injury, work or school demands, relationships, you name it) and for some, walking a single mile is a huge freaking deal and I am just as happy and proud for your accomplishments too!! I've been there. I know how hard it is to get the body going and cover some ground. But if you don't already know it, you can trust me and believe me when I tell you....it will* get easier!
Just. Keep. Moving.
And that's what this whole challenge is about. That and the support and camaraderie of everyone cheering and knowing you're not alone. There have been many, many days in the 28 months I've been doing this challenge that I didn't want to keep going, but I did because I felt part of something....and I needed to hit my number. Most days I don't have a problem just doing it. But for those days I'd rather not, this MYAC has been a blessing that keeps* me going. I hope it does the same for you and you achieve whatever your goal is. :flowerforyou:
My mushy, but sincere, bloggish post for the day
