body composition tracking needed

most people do want to loose fat not muscle.
as an active gym goer, with current 30% body fat (confirmed by dexa), i am trying to recomp down to 20%, regardless of overall weight. i made pretty good muscle gains within the last year and a bit fat loss (but overall weight went up 20lbs or so).
also, new trackers can measure body fat (like samsung g4/5).
with that in mind, the current goal setting is pretty useless. all it can do is track calories which is good, but the weight aspect is irrelevant.
