Recipe not listed

Hi - I'm brand new to this site to keep track of my food. I just spent a half hour adding a recipe and saved it, and it's not showing up when I search for it. So I can't add it to my food diary. How long does it normally take for a recipe to show up in the search after adding? TIA

    It should be instant. Click on the More button at the lower-right on your app, then click on My Meals, Recipes, and Foods. It should be listed first on the recipes tab.

    In your diary there’s a separate tab to search your Recipes. Make sure you’ve selected that before searching. The first tab on the left is searching the basic shared database, I think the third one along to the right is the ‘My Recipes’ tab.

    If you still can’t find it (I use the iOS app, so it may be different if you’re using another platform, then tell us what you see and we’ll try to pin it down further.
