Weight lifting

How can I weight lift with a milf fatty hernia and medium bladder prolapse. I used to back in the day and it helped me keep of weight and it was the form of exercise I loved most. Now I am obese and haven't been exercising for years and have had kids now and have hernia and prolapse but I wanna weight lift so bad again . Any suggestions

I would start with strength exercises that could help the prolapse first then make modifications for your hernia but your gonna have to start slow and build up to lifting again. I don’t lift personally even though it would likely be very good for body composition but I do preventative pelvic floor exercises and those are gentle and safe yet strengthening.. have you consulted with a pelvic floor specialist or a doctor about what exercise would be safe for you to do with the hernia/prolapse?? Maybe they can make a suggestion. Or a referral ..

If it were me, I'd be asking my doctor for a referral to physical therapy, then ask the physical therapist about safe ways to exercise in addition to getting any remedial treatment they can give you.3
