How I broke my plateau with Zig Zag diet

Disclaimer: It is my personal experience, it may or may not suit you because every individual is different.
Here it goes-
Started with good weight loss speed last November. Got stuck at a certain weight in January. Four weeks and the scales won't budge. So I searched for methods to break this plateau and came across the Zig zag diet.
It made sense to come out of a set pattern of eating and jolt the body with changing calorie patterns. There are many zig zag calorie calculators online and I used this one, because I found its 7-day suggested calorie cycle closer to what I was eating.
The 7-day calorie cycle is suggested for Maintain Weight/Mild Weight Loss/Weight Loss/ Extreme Weight Loss.
I chose the calories cycle for Weight Loss.
Needless to say that people should stay away from "Extreme Weight Loss" because that is simply starvation.
Last Tuesday, I started changing my calorie intake patterns. That day, my weight was at its constant place at 163, where it has been for 4 weeks. Today, on the 5th day of the zig zag diet, I'm at 159.
I have touched 162 a few times in between, but it always went back to 163 and never went below 160.
Today, finally that plateau has broken.
In the last two days, I also changed the kind of food I was eating and increased intake of raw fruits, vegetables (soup, salads)/ boiled/ steamed food/water.
This is what had helped me lose weight in the starting phase, this is what has helped me come out of a plateau.
This is more like 5:2 IF, and I was looking to do 5:2 Intermittent Fasting. But I didn't had the courage to get into "low and lower calories" cycle. Zigzag diet gave me the chance to "eat more and eat slightly less" and still lose weight.
Sharing it in hope, that it might help others too.
