So I created a new WLS group but we only have three members so I'm going to ask here. I am 3 weeks post-op from having a gastric sleeve and I'm only able to 'eat' about 600-700 calories a day. I was wondering if anyone out there might have some experience with post-op weight loss stalls after surgery and how caloric intake might impact that. I'm definitely getting in my waters, and am walking each day. Just would like to know that there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

If you're eating sub 700 on average you will lose weight. You're probably experiencing water weight fluctuations. Water weight not in the form of water you drink but in the form of anything that affects your weight and is not stored fat level related. All of that is water weight including retention because you're healing or increasing your walking compared to before0
