Hello All! So I am on a healthy track; since the pandemic, I have gained about 15 to 20 pounds. Currently at 185 to 188 (5 foot 8 inches) The last blood test noted I was two points away from tracking as a diabetic! The main goal is to reduce sugar levels—so a Pre-Diabetic diet. The app is helping a lot, I was signed up for Weight Watchers, but after trying their APP, I will cancel after the 10-month subscription to WW. I much prefer the MyFitNessPal.com site and app.
I bought a tester to monitor my blood and sugar levels (glucose) and do the test every day; only been testing for three days so far, but each day even with my change in the diet seems, the value gets a bit higher. But at least I am on a better track. I am amazed that everything I used to eat has so much sugar it is crazy.
Good to be around like-minded people, and I am looking forward to the journey!
