Hey there, this is the first time I post here because I'm wondering something and I can't get any answer.
Today, I have a big day in term of meals but whit 90% of clean foods (bbq, chicken, potatoes, salad, oil...).
My question is, what will happen if I eat a lot whitout counting anything (usually i take a eye on my calories and macros) just for today ? Especially in my case (50kg and 1m75) ? I wonder if just eat what I want in term of quantity just for today can just be beneficial in my case ? What will happen if for exemple if I go over my calories by 1000 or 2000 ?
Also, I have the impression to just want to eat eat eat and I don't know really why. I like my daily diet and i'm absolutly not frustrated.
What do you think of all of this ? What your advices ? Thanks you !

You aren't trying to lose weight, I hope?
You have a BMI of 16.3, that is way way underweight. This impression of just wanting to eat and eat is probably your body fighting back, trying to get to a healthy weight!

Yes i'm trying to gain weight and already take 7kg. I think i just need to go eat without wondering, I have a big appetite and this is why I ask this question0 -
Ah OK, good to know, we get a lot of people here trying to lose weight (some of them inappropriately so) so it's good to know your context.
I don't see why a day without counting would be bad here, I would go with it.
Why are you asking the question? I mean: are you worried about anything in particular?1 -
To be honest, I just want to be reassured about taking a day off in terms of food and sport / physical activities and just eat what I want to eat, even if is a lot. Just need confoirmation if I'm not wrong.0

I don't think it's wrong no, it's just one day 🙂0

Good that you're not trying to lose weight.
What will happen is probably a temporary bump on the scale due to more food leftovers in your intestines (they of course also have a weight) and possibly due to increase of waterweight due to more sodium or carbs. All temporarily. Might be best to ignore the scale for a week if that might trigger you.1 -
Thank to you guys !0

Every now and then yes of course we just need to rest our minds and enjoy some food. Then get back on track when we are ready1
