Looking for Advice

My teenager has a problem maintaining her weight. She is an extremely picky eater. Often I think she has low energy and she struggles with not eating enough. I want to help her with her nutrition (and she wants to be helped, she asks me for help and suggestions all the time.) I'm hoping someone can recommend a website or app that can help me help her (or directly help her) to eat more, and to eat more healthy food. She likes things like pizza, cheese burgers (plain), chicken nuggets (no sauce) , Mac n cheese, broccoli and ice cream. ANY advice on how to help her is highly welcomed. Thanks in advance.

If she's eating that kind of food and still has trouble keeping her weight up, there's VERY likely more going on. I don't know what her weight is at, but if it's within normal range I wouldn't worry too much.

Has she always been super picky? Look up the difference between PICKY eating in kids and PROBLEM eating/feeding. Perhaps some sensory issues? My son went to occupational therapy to learn how to eat when he was younger. Lots of gagging and vomiting and avoiding food. Had a very very limited diet. Kay Toomey has published some good literature on this and has a system called the Steps to Eating that we learned in sessions at our local children’s hospital.

The first step would be making a list of all “acceptable” food items to show the pediatrician. How many separate items will she eat? (Chips? Waffles? Fish sticks? Gummy worms?) List everything if you can because the total # will matter in getting help.
