My name is Diane. I live in Maine right along the harbor. I started out at 288 lbs and am now at 172 lbs. I've lost a WHOLE PERSON!!

How? I did not cut out any junk food, though I slowly did bring it down to only a little each day, slowly. I LOVE TO EAT!! I'm clearly a foodie and always will be. I did though along with slowly cutting down junk food, I increased healthier eating (though I am not a fruit/veggie person). At first (this is an estimate, but a close one!) was eating 4,000 calories a day, at almost 300 lbs it showed I did!) My eating was mostly junk food, pizza, cake, ice cream, and chocolate milk were my staples as well as 6 to 8 cans of Pepsi.

I needed support from others who understood how HARD IT IS to make the changes I knew I'd need to be healthier. Do you feel the same way? I WANTED to lose, but I did lack motivation. It's fun to start to lose weight, but to keep on losing over a longer period of time is super hard!! Agree?
