I am thankful the weight is not up too high from our Thanksgiving feast. Now, to get back into the business of the 170’s. It will be difficult considering all the desserts that are still left in the downstairs fridge. I did good yesterday and ate none. But then again, I was gone most of the day. Let’s hope today is a good day. Clearly I won’t meet my goal this month, but I am still on track for the overall challenge goal of 12 pounds. But there is that basement fridge full of all things sugar and flour. And there’s the month of December with all it’s baking and festivities. This is not going to be easy……

    12/04-181.0-(Trend Weight: 181.8)- I am so incredibly sick right now. But it’s not affecting my stomach so I am still having to be very careful of what I eat. I’m trying hard not to eat comfort foods (which are all primarily bad carbs) because I feel sorry for myself. My chest is so full of phlegm. I can barely get off the couch. Yesterday I got a total of 911 steps and did not hit my 250 steps in any hour of the 13 rings. If December catches me, it’s going to swallow me whole. Trying to stay ahead of it but it’s so hard when I’m feeling this weak. It’s the Last Thing I Needed In The Month Of December. I can watch what I eat but I can’t burn anything off so it’s all in but nothing out in the form of expenditure.

    I have made 5 different julekaker (Christmas cookies) at work. Not started at home yet. Will make one more kind at work. Traditionally it should be 7 kinds but I only make the ones I like. I have ordered a few kinds.

    Yes I eat of the dough because I am a toddler disguised as an adult.
    Outside is still bright and shiny glitrerring snow. Last week there was a full moon and with the snow it got so bright I didn't need a flashlight when walking.

    The Weight seems to be stuck. I know what causes it but I am really unmotivated.

    @deepwoodslady I'm sorry you're feeling miserable. Don't worry about weight loss for a few days, this is the time to nourish your body and take it easy so that you can heal. Drink lots of hot liquids (water, broth, soups, herbal teas) to help with the congestion. I hope you feel better soon.

    @takinitalloff Thanks so much for the tip about hot liquids. I will start that today. I had only tried to increase my water.
