Introduction: I am 5’4”, female, cat momma, 45 (46 by the time this ends). I am a writer, nothing published at the moment, and preparing for the international event of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month - you can see why we abbreviate to just NaNo!) in November. What that means is additional pressure to be extra snacky while researching and writing. I’m hoping for this to help keep me on track during the upcoming months. I am on mental health medications that increase my appetite and decrease my ability to become satiated, plus messes with my metabolic pathways, making weight hard for me to control and maintain
