    October 4: 195 lb I am really demoralized that I can gain 6 lbs overnight. My calorie intake was in line and not over.

    You know you didn’t gain 6 lbs overnight. It’s water retention. Don’t beat yourself up for something you didn’t cause, it doesn’t help anything and can only cause you to sabotage yourself out of spite.

    If you remain steady in what you’re doing and you’re doing the right things, that weight will come off steadily but there will always be bumps in your weight graph along the way. They truly don’t matter, they’re just part of the progress.

    To see how you’re actually doing, always look at a 30-day graph, minimum.

    @takinitalloff That’s funny. It feels like I’ve been doing this for so long now that it should be 2024. Four months tends to feel like an eternity when you are denying yourself the foods you really would prefer to eat and feeling hungry most of the time on a daily basis.
