and I connect them all to MFP via the iPhone Health app.
Storing/owning user health data is where the money is. Apple Health is where Apple stores and controls all our health data. Other apps like MFP, scale companies, Strava, Garmin, etc, used to own and control their users health data and still do a little bit.

The trend is for an iPhone user to be able to see, access, and play around with the info on their iPhones. Apple built Apple Health and told all other app makers to follow their APIs, their techniques, their requirements, or get left behind.

It is nice to have my old iPhone and have all my information there, so convenient. The good old days of looking at MFP data, on the MFP website, from a desktop computer... are heading the way of copper wire landlines in our homes. Health Connect is Alphabet's version of this.

Syncing steps and weight and exercises has always been great, and quite often broken, and a solution is to let Apple handle all the data ... thus the problem, holding data is where the money is and MFP needs a business model to keep fixing their app/webpage.

Has there been a resolution to this? MFP hasn’t synced my weight from Garmin since October 18. No issues with it syncing exercise from Garmin or calories consumed to Garmin. It’s pulling steps from Garmin without issue. It’s just the weight not syncing. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the apps and that didn’t fix the weight syncing. Help!

None on my end. Weight is in Garmin. And my Garmin exercise and steps all sync over to MFP but not weight. Also, MFP calories also sync over to Garmin. They are talking, but MFP is not reading the weight data.

I was just informed by MFP Tech Support that "Weight" will not be read into MFP from Health Connect.

It is still a open question if "Weight" will be read into MFP from Garmin Connect. Anyone seeing this work?

It works perfectly for me and has worked perfectly all along - I just entered my daily weigh-in into Garmin directly (manually) and it synced immediately to MFP. But the issue seems to be when the weight is sent to Garmin from a Bluetooth scale.

That's good you are not having any issues, perhaps the others that are seeing it can add their observations. That might help narrow down the issues. Anyone dealing with this?

Again, MyFitnessPal confirmed to me they do not sync "Weight" data from Health Connect, therefore IOS/Iphone people might be having different experiences.
