Back from holiday.

Hi. I am back from a 6 day holiday to Scotland and hubby has booked a Caribbean cruise for my 70th birthday in March 2025 . Want / need to lose at least 6 stones before then. Have worked it out at less than half a stone a month average so definitely achievable if I stick to it. Have been suffering with sciatica for the last 3 months but now have enough mobility to go back to swimming which will help me tone up as I lose weight.

Nice. Where did you go in Scotland, if you don't mind me asking? And were you lucky with the weather?
Good luck with the plan. If you're new, focus at first on substitutions and portion control. Get healthier snacks in like granola bars and popcorn rather than cookies and chips, put the unhealthy snacks at least out of sight. Cut out full sugar soda. Halve your sauces on meals or use low calorie alternatives if possible. Have a baked potato instead of fries. If you're at a restaurant, avoid a starter or the table bread. etc. etc. Simple changes like that can yield huge benefits.1 -
Hi. We went on a coach holiday to Blairgowrie. Weather was great until Thursday when it was wet and windy but we dscaped the worst of the storm. Coach had to make a diversion on Friday coming home through Dunkeld as he was told there was a tree down on the main road. Left Scotland at 8:30 Friday morning and got back to Devon at nearly 11 pm2
