Why doesn't my morning exercises get logged automatically?

I have my Samsung Galaxy Fit2 connected with MFP and it consistently doesn't log my Saturday morning workouts. I have to manually enter it. I usually do my workouts in the evening and these get logged in automatically.
I don't know if this has anything to do with calorie expenditure before intake. My steps are still being counted. I have disconnected and reconnected my fitness tracker multiple times with the same result.

What exercise is your morning workout? Is it walking or something else? Another idea: does it for some odd reason get logged on the previous day?0

My morning workout was a HIIT. The workout wasn't logged in the previous day, but there are times when they do get duplicated on random days. Will need to monitor this further. But so far the issue has been consistent in the last 2 weeks since I started using the app.0

It happened again! This is the third week in a row where my morning workout doesn't get automatically logged into MFP. The only thing that I am doing differently is the time of day I am working out and doing it on a fasted state.0
