    Recap 6/10 M ~ Yay! The sun is shining. Cool temp (high in upper 60s) but the sun really improves my mood.
    1) Salmon & sides for supper / log all food / 80 oz. water :s Net calories still high, not helped by evening snack of peanut M&Ms! Water spot on though.
    2) Walk dog :sunglasses: 3.15 miles happy dog & happy me
    3) Wash dishes / fill empty milk jug from rain barrel / R2AK tracker/posts / balance bank accts / update budget s/s / read / other? contacted pesticide service for explanation of name change & billing charge ~ all ok :smiley: TA-DA!

    1) Ultimate goal weight 150#... I'll be thrilled if I can get back down to 160# this year
    • Post weekly weigh-in on MFP for accountability. Saturday a.m. is my "official" weigh-in day, and I track daily on a separate app (for the visual). My digital scale only shows half pound increments & I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale.
    • Take measurements & log on MFP every month end
    2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
    • Try new recipes Unfortunately, no wall oven until mid-Feb or later & sad me, but try slow cooker & stove recipes... wall oven installed 2/26 but no new recipes yet.
      * lentil rice sausage tortellini soup (internet) ~ very good, recipe is keeper
      * glazed lemon cookies (internet search) ~ everyone loved them at Easter dinner
      * rhubarb cobbler (in my first ever cookbook BH&G) ~ very good, I want to try with other fruits this summer
      * yellow cake (BH&G cookbook) ~ I followed instructions closely & blended well, very good with rhubarb sauce
    3) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x):
    January: 5 days x2wks, 4x1, 3x1, 1x1 [1 wk lots of snow & 1 wk bitter cold so shoveling, treadmill & PT, 1 wk 4 day trips out of town]
    February: 6 days x1wk, 5x1, 4x1, 2x1 [2 wks overnight trips to visit parents]
    March: 5 days x1wk, 4x1, 3x1, 0x1 [ack... prep house & food for Easter dinner; 1 wk overnight trip to visit parents]

    2) None of DH's stash ok today (including chocolate truffles, candy, chocolate raisins, peeps, ice cream).✔️
    3) No peanut butter ok today, 2.5 to 3 T (last 6/4)✔️
    4) Won't weigh again until 6/13✔️
    5) No hard cheese ok today (trying not to have cheese everyday) (last 6/10). Note: some grated parmigiana cheese has always been allowed and doesn't count towards hard cheese. Hard cheese at restaurant ok. Can have cheese with restaurant meals.✔️
    6) No honey ok today(1-3 Tbsp.), unless it's my dessert as per #1. (last 4/21) (a little in honey mustard ok)(last)✔️
    7) Nuts ok (22-30 g) or 12-14 in-the-shell nuts. (last 1/20) Additional nuts in a meal are ok. Like almonds already in green beans. No more of the canned mixed nuts today.✔️

    Super late again getting on here. I should have gotten on before I went to the store to get a gallon of ice cream.. and ate 2 bowls. But... I bought frozen yogurt, so a little less in calories.
    Busy day today. Had an appt with dermologist, and he removed 2 spots on my face for bioposy. Hope its not cancer.. as its right at the tip of my nose! But... will cross that when it gets here. I think its just a sore, but it keeps coming back, hence the biopsy.
    other than that.. it was a lazy day. Yesterday I way overdid it.. went to the gym in the morning, helped a neighbor pick up sticks and branches for 3 hours... so I think it just hit me today. So hubby and I just sat around and watched youtube videos.
    But.. I did get out for a 4 mile walk tonite.. but then that was bad.. because on the way home I stopped at the grocery store for a box of ice cream!( but .. it was only 1.99 for a half gallon!!).
    Tomorrow my goals are
    1. go to the gym
    2. log all food
    3. get back to calories under 1500
    4. concentrate on water

    My triceps 😱

    Deffo over did it in the gym yesterday 😂 I won't be making that mistake again!

    I've tried a couple of tricep machines in the gym but one I LOVED it was so easy to do. Probably how I over did it!

    I also take a pre-workout before going gym so I end up doing more than I normally would if I didn't have it. Plus it gives me epic focus, I would deffo give up earlier without it.

    Might aswell seeing as I'm young enough to take it, don't think you can take it when you have heart problems.

    I'm not going to the gym today but Ash is.

    Didn't check in yesterday, but had a really good day. Tim's surgery is today so I took yesterday off to do some things for myself. Took a nap, went for a nice bike ride, got my nails done, took a shower and dressed up to go out and play trivia. My plan was to ride the bike path, but the path was closed so I decided to put on my big girl panties and ride on the roads like I used to. It was a beautiful day and I rode along the river. It was nice to be out there even if I was slow. V joined me at the nail salon, then I went home and got ready to go out. We were planning an early evening, but friends showed up just as we were headed out so we ended up staying until late. Either way we had a great time. Tuesday I went for a hike with a friend and we chatted the whole time, I miss having girl friends, I need to do better about seeing the ones I have.

    Today I'm sitting in the waiting room trying to get some work done, but internet connection is spotty. He just went back about 30 minutes ago to get prepped. They should call me back soon to sit with him before they take him into surgery. I think I'm more nervous this time than the last, but Tim seems ok. Just going to be a long day of waiting. The surgery is like 6 hours long.

    I am restarting my diet after a considerable break and regaining all my lost weight, 15 stone, disgusting. I plan to try Michael Mosleys 5-2 diet and have ordered all my fresh foods for delivery tomorrow so I am not tempted in the supermarket, which I usually am. I am a little disappointed with myfitnesspal when I logged on today it seemed to be more advertisements than I remember before and am a bit fed up with continual adverts trying to get me to sign up for a free weeks trial. Anyway I'm here so wish me luck and strength to achieve my goal of 3 stone loss

    @maryrosehunt Welcome to JFT! I am too cheap to pay for premium anything, and have become immune to all the ads, so I just keep scrolling. I feel you on the regain weight journey. Years ago I lost 50# using Weight Watchers, saying I would never be that weight again. Well, I'm close to that now. It's a constant thing for me. That's why I try to make this about lifestyle & fitness, not the dreaded "diet".

    @maryrosehunt - Metamusal is a fiber supplement that I take every day. I won't get into my whole history, but I have to be careful that I don't feel guilty about having it "after my lunch". I like the taste of it (go figure), and I just want to feel completely guilt-free when I have it. Guilt feelings are something I've combatted for a lifetime. They have lead me to binge-eating in the past. I use my hour commitments to help me not feel guilty about eating...

    starting out the day on a positive. My goal is to be below 200# by end of June. I was bouncing around for the last 14 days between 200 and 203 and today the scale said 199.6. That's a good way to start my Friday. Going to work hard on keeping it there..

    I have family arriving today and one person is very judgmental about people's weight. This person is hyper focused on health food and being skinny and if you ask me looks anorexic . Things have been said to me about my weight in the past so, this is going to be a hard few days dealing with this person.

    Hour commitment - I won't eat again until after 5 pm. None of the same foods at dinner as at lunch. Can still have my dose of metamucil.

    2) None of DH's stash ok today (including chocolate truffles, candy, chocolate raisins, peeps, ice cream).✔️
    3) No peanut butter ok today, 2.5 to 3 T (last 6/13)✔️
    4) Won't weigh again until 6/17✔️
    5) Up to 2.0 oz hard cheese ok today (trying not to have cheese everyday) (last 6/12). Note: some grated parmigiana cheese has always been allowed and doesn't count towards hard cheese. Hard cheese at restaurant ok. Can have cheese with restaurant meals.✔️
