Restarting the Journey

I’ve been a member of MFP since 1st Jan 2019 when I weighed in at 246 lbs. I am the world’s worst yo-yo dieter but my greatest success was during COVID. I cycled every day to get out of the house and was eventually able to drop to 184.4lbs in September 2020. Since then, unfortunately the yo-yo dieting recommenced and here I am starting 2024 at 230 lbs. I’m so frustrated with myself. I know a lot of the weight gain is due to anxiety eating. I am with a new goal to reach my ideal weight of 175 lbs. (I am 6ft 2”) I’ll try and take it one day at a time and not lose site of the finish line.
I’m 55 and looking for accountability buddies if you’d like to add me.
Good luck everyone. Dieting is never easy but it’s always worth it.
