That's really, really a lot of protein.

Maybe consider a second opinion, such as this evidence-based source, one that's generally considered neutral (for example, they don't sell supplements):

    https://examine.com/protein-intake-calculator/
    https://examine.com/guides/protein-intake/

If you really need that much protein, this is a good resource:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10247171/carbs-and-fats-are-cheap-heres-a-guide-to-getting-your-proteins-worth-fiber-also

It links to a spreadsheet that lists many, many foods in order by most protein for fewest calories, and it includes some columns that will give you basic information about the protein quality.

    Best wishes!

You don't need that much. If you're highly over weight you want to figure the amounts based on a leaner, target weight.

Chicken breast and round steak are 2 good, lean sources along with eggs or egg whites.

Start out with a pound of tofu for 40 grams. Mix it with four tablespoons of nutritional yeast for 16 more. Mix all that in two cups of cooked quinoa for 16 more. We're already at 72 grams - a quarter of the way there! Toss in three eggs for 18 more. Add 20 grams from a supplement of your choice, and we're up to 40%.

Two ounces of sardines, which also are good because ya know, oily fish, adds 46 more for 156 for nearly 60%. Now we have to get serious. One pound of Gruyere adds 128 and you're above goal at 284.

Why so much protein? I love cheese. This would be fun for a day or... probably not even two, but I'd venture beyond Gruyere if I was really trying to maximize calories... I mean protein.
