Most recent update for me

Another update to my journey that started last year in May 2023.
I have now lost 30% of my body weight. I know I weighed more than 200lbs at one point, but the last
"weigh in" at the doctor's office was 194 before I started refusing to let them weigh me, so I'll go with that.
1am now down to 138, and am currently stuck in a plateau, which is frustrating-but hey, I guess I should be happy that I am fitting in clothes that I haven't fit in for 18 years.
I mostly started reading labels, so I could cut out foods with any added sugar; cut down sugar in general; lowered my carbs significantly;
increased my fat and protein to help me not be hungry all the time; trying to eat more "real" foods and not processed foods, and though I started with 1280 calories a day... that really isn't sustainable, so l've increased my daily calories to 1600 for now.
I'm in my 60's...5'3" and now 138, and would really like to get down to 130 if possible. It's hard for me with exercise because of having had so many major surgeries and being in so much pain all the time, so I mostly stick to walking every day.
Even though it's a slow walk, it's still exercise.
Every day is a challenge, but l'm trying to make this a lifestyle change and not a "diet".

This is inspiring. I'm almost 65 and had success a few years ago, then gained some back, and still need to lose about 50 to be in a range that will allow me to stay mobile for many years to come. My knees were the motivation.
If you can do this, I'm thinking I can. Thanks0
