4/26: 112.2 I forgot to weight yesterday morning, oops! I did do some weight training the day before, but last night I felt super sick which probably partially led to the big drop today. Iβm on a rare trip to town so I will definitely be above calories today but also get more steps in.

4/29: 114.2 Wow, this weekend was insanely busy. I had 2 days of all day travel to a "nearby" city which included fast food and not tracking. These trips are pretty rare though, only a few times a year and we did some shopping we needed to do and bought an old truck so overall it was good, but I'm beyond exhausted. I'm back to my prepped meals for the week and planning on some early bedtimes!
4/30: 114.0 A total loss of 1.6lbs for April & 8.6lbs overall. I honestly didnβt even realize the month was over. This is the busiest and most stressed Iβve ever been at my current job and I was exhausted most days. Iβm happy that I made progress despite that, even if itβs less than I was hoping for. Congrats to all on making it another month!0 -

04/29βDNW I went to look at another investment property today so Iβm posting late. I ended up stopping at a bar with my son so we could get his favorite (Pizza). He wanted me to βpay him backβ for being my GPS tracker. I would like to weigh in tomorrow since itβs the last day of the month but weβll have to see if this incredible bloat goes away. I still think that I may have a bit of lactose intolerance in my old age. That cheese on the pizza has not done me any favors this evening.

I lost 8.6 pounds this month! π€Έ I actually lost more than that, if you count the 2-3 pounds of bloat I regained and lost several times, due to eating a few meals I shouldnβt have throughout the month. (gluten/high salt) I also started walking ΒΌ mile/500 steps every day, πΆββοΈ and added a water aerobics class once a week to my exercise routine. πββοΈ So all-in-all, April was a great month.
Plans for the Week:
It seems like our cold weather is finally over with, π€ so I plan on getting some seeds planted in my garden.
April Reflection
I went back over my food journal for the last month, to try to figure out why I had good days and bad days when it came to my weight loss. Iβm gluten intolerant, so I know that causes issues and wasnβt surprised to see the scale go up a few pounds, after eating something with it. I also noticed that the scale wants to stall or go up when I have a fruit heavy day as well. So while Iβm not going to cut fruit out entirely, I am definitely going to cut back on it, and mainly stick with protein and veggies. Tracking my food daily has been invaluable in my weight loss journey, and has really helped me see where I need to make changes.
I have been staying on track with my exercise routine. I walk 500 steps a day, and recently added a once a week water aerobics class as well. I also joined a gym membership too, but havenβt been able to use it yet, due to spring allergies knocking me on my butt. π€§ While that may not seem like a lot, for me it is almost unbelievable. Just 3 short months ago when I started my weight loss journey, I couldnβt even walk from one room of my home to another (and they are small rooms!) without losing my breath, getting dizzy, and almost passing out. So I thank God every day for my strength and endurance coming back, slowly but surely.
