We are now in our Fourth month of the year, and I absolutely love the start of a new, fresh month. Whether you’re just starting with this group, or you’ve been here for awhile, we’re so glad you’re here on this journey with us. ❤️

This year we’ve added a year-long challenge as well: ❤️⭐️2024 Weekly weigh-in Challenge⭐️❤️

    Here we go April! I've had a bit of a setback over the week of Easter by gaining well over 5 pounds. I used the excuse of the holidays to abandon my eating routines. So, starting in April I will return to intermittent fasting with an 18-hour fasting period and a 6-hour eating window.
    I like this routine. I feel better and it fits into my fun-filled retired lifestyle. It gives me the energy and time to play. Pickleball and bowling continue. April brings with it Softball. Can't wait to play ball!
    Start Weight 2024: 180 BMI 30.9 Obese
    Goal Weight by Feb 29, 2024: 170 BMI 28.5 Over Weight
    Goal weight 2024: 160 BMI 27.0 Overweight
    Ultimate Goal: 147 BMI 24.9 Normal

    BMI Ranges
    Underweight = <18.5
    Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
    Overweight = 25.0–29.9
    Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

    I'm Kira, (53) 5'1". I'm married to my best friend, Jamie. We live in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm a new empty nester who is still figuring out wo I am without the daily grind of kids to look after and plan around.

    April 1: 188.6 AM post- This month I really wan to see some progress on my weight. I'm hoping for a 5 pound loss.

    04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- The dinner was good. I couldn’t believe the long line standing outside in the freezing cold just to get in. We waited because we drove such a long way for it. Quantities were pretty good, choices can always be better. I feel pudgy and bloated today. Hopefully things will settle back down in the next day or two.
