Can MFP not include passive (total Calโ€™s burned) into your Calories Remaining? Itโ€™s such a faff on ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Apologies if this has been asked many times, but having recently transitioned from a Fitbit to an Apple Watch and MFP Iโ€™m really struggling with MFP seemingly only accounting for food and calories burned by exercise, which surely is a pointless calculation?

I want to know a total of what Iโ€™ve burned (regardless of if itโ€™s passive or exercise) minus food consumed = spare calories for the day.

Maybe itโ€™s my fault for not researching properly, but Iโ€™m really regretting leaving Fitbit for apple/MFP at the min.

Hope someone can help.

Many Thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž

As an Apple Watch user myself, I can directly confirm that your general calories burned from activity definitely syncs with MFP. The one (unfortunate) thing that does not sync over is Active Calories, which is only a thing in Apple Health and so does not have an equivalent measurement on our side where it would make sense or be feasible to sync over.

It's possible there was just an issue with your Apple Watch setup. First, check this out and make sure you followed the steps outlined; https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032625731-Apple-Watch-App#01HNXDMTF87TGH4R3SMZTXCKG2
