    I have been at this tracking for quite awhile, on this particular thread for 15 out of the 19 iterations of it.
    I lost quite a bit (got to 130), but have been slowly gaining weight over the past 2 years despite my efforts.
    Highest weight was 207. Began on this thread at 198 pounds

    Day 85-07/03 - 149.0 - Banner day, I burned more than I ate largely due to having a whole day off, lots of Fitness Marshall songs, and many hours of digging, pulling, pushing, squatting, lunging etc. in the yard. Hope to see the results of that over the next few days. We are soon to get back to seasonal temperatures for this area, around 98f. I have more things to do in the yard before that hits, so I either have to get it done early in the morning before my 2 jobs or at 8pm. My potato garden was overtaken by Bindweed. It strangles plants and can't just be pulled or the entire plant comes out with it. I have cleared out 6 of the 10 rows, 3 on each day off. Much easier to do when it is dry and I know that I will have to water lots once the (late) high heat begins.

    Day 86-07/04 - 149.2 - Well, obviously no woosh, but not giving up. I got out when I got home from work just after 8pm and finished pulling the bindweed from the last rows of my potato garden. Sadly that also pulled out forming potatoes. I just tucked them in back under the soil. Prepping for the heatwave. Weeds come out easier when the soil is dry, so now I can water almost everything.

    Thoughts:

    Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.



    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.

    Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
    Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
    Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
    Day 04 79.4 kg a big loss today. I did a lot of walking, I had sugary food for the first time in 8 days. I overate. Recently there have been 6 days when I overate a lot, I had sugary food 5 times. Coincidence?
    Day 05 79.8 kg just a normal day where I am good, no overeating and exercising is as required
    Day 06 80.4 kg I started two personal challenges, I had some sugary food because I won't be having sugary food for a while, so on Tuesday I gained...
    Day 07 80.6 kg my eating and exercise went well, still need to recover from the overeating episodes, maybe in 2-3 days that will happen
    Day 08 80.4 kg I had some treats and food I don't usually have, that's a negative, on the plus side I'm still exercising as I intended
    Day 09 80.3 kg I have a cold so I only managed half my exercise today, that's fine, eating was good.
    Day 10 80.2 kg another day when I ate properly, two days in a row, plus two exercise sessions.
    Day 11 79.7 kg a good day in terms of exercise and eating
    Day 12 78.7 kg I don't see a 1 kg loss very often, anyway I overate again, although my exercise was as planned
    Day 13 79.3 kg Another good day, exercise and diet were good. I've decided to attempt to lose 10 kg in 100 days - so this will move over to the next round. Starting tomorrow.
    Day 14 79.4 kg I ran the numbers to see whether I could lose 10 kg in 100 days and it seems iffy, however I'm not particularly hungry as I lose weight, so I guess I should just eat less. I overate and did my required amount of exercise. I looked at my intake graph and since day 1 there's been 7 days when I've overeaten.
    Day 15 79.7 kg I ate a bit too much and my exercise was less than required. 10 kg in 100 days: 10.3 kg to lose in 99 days. Can I do it? Probably.
    Day 16 79.6 kg I ate too much but my exercise was alright. I've decided to delay the 10 kg in 100 days idea until my weight loss 'settles down'
    Day 17 79.5 kg ate too much and didn't exercise at my desired level
    Day 18 80.4 kg whoa how did that happen? Maybe eating too much?
    Day 19 79.7 kg ate too much, exercise average is okay

    Day 21 80.0 kg I'm now starting the lose 10 kg in 100 days challenge. Can I do it? Probably.

    Day 24 80.0 kg, I'm eating too much, 0.1 kg lost in 23 days. Anyway, 10.0 kg in 97 days? Probably.
    Day 25 80.1 kg, eating seems to be under control right now, 30 day weight average has dropped for 3 days in a row (personal best 118 days), 10.1 kg in 96 days? Probably

If it's working at the end maybe I'll add an extra 3 days and see if I can do 10 kg in 100 days. Unfortunately my health has not fully recovered so I may need a diagnosis. If that happens I'll stop the challenge. So starting today, I'm aiming to lose weight again. 9.7 kg in 97 days? I probably can do that.

And today an American artist brought food for us to celebrate July Fourth, tho it isn't a holiday for us we enjoyed it anyway. We had taco beef soup and chocolate fudge cake with oranges, which are apparently not traditional foods, but we enjoyed them anyway.

    Scale is going back down. Probably because I exercised almost all morning, then after lunch I had TMI after days. But all that led to me maybe not drinking enough water and when I sat down to paint in the afternoon I almost passed out! Racing heart and drop in blood pressure which I do have a problem brought on by usually 1. dehydrated 2. Stress 3. blood pooling in feet from standing in one place too long. Laid down, put my feet up and drank water. DH helped me back down the stairs when I felt a little better because he was worried I would trip and fall. But then after a couple of glasses of water I was back to normal! Planning to paint today ... and drink lots of water! It is hot here in Houston.

    Day 85-07/03 - 149.0 - Banner day, I burned more than I ate largely due to having a whole day off, lots of Fitness Marshall songs, and many hours of digging, pulling, pushing, squatting, lunging etc. in the yard. Hope to see the results of that over the next few days. We are soon to get back to seasonal temperatures for this area, around 98f. I have more things to do in the yard before that hits, so I either have to get it done early in the morning before my 2 jobs or at 8pm. My potato garden was overtaken by Bindweed. It strangles plants and can't just be pulled or the entire plant comes out with it. I have cleared out 6 of the 10 rows, 3 on each day off. Much easier to do when it is dry and I know that I will have to water lots once the (late) high heat begins.

    Day 86-07/04 - 149.2 - Well, obviously no woosh, but not giving up. I got out when I got home from work just after 8pm and finished pulling the bindweed from the last rows of my potato garden. Sadly that also pulled out forming potatoes. I just tucked them in back under the soil. Prepping for the heatwave. Weeds come out easier when the soil is dry, so now I can water almost everything.

    Day 05-04/14—174.3 Succeeded with the no more eating last night. Also succeeded at moderation at an all-you-can eat buffet today (a ton of fresh vegetables and some fruit as well). Thus far the making good decisions is going well. But I think this downward trend is going to stop soon – I’ve lost all the water weight I’m going to lose. So now the work starts for real.

Or in the grocery store, passing the deli section, thinking “I know those wings taste pretty good; maybe grab a few for the drive home.” Even though wings are definitely not on my shopping list. It’s an ongoing struggle. Trying to find healthy things that also taste good – or stopping eating at a reasonable point – is a real challenge!

    Day 29-05/08—172.4 Okay, mixed success at the Mexican restaurant yesterday. Did do some grazing on chips and salsa but had a fairly responsible main (grilled chicken/chipotle sauce, black beans). It was a ton of sodium, though, which is why I think the scale did what it did.

I’m under no illusions – I am not going to lose any. But not gaining would be nice, given the drinking and decadent food options there will (presumably) be.

My doctor says I need to incorporate heavier exercise in, and I realized how much of a weakling I was when I tried to lift my 40 pound luggage, so I’m going to try to incorporate weights into the routine. Last time I did a 100 days challenge I did lose weight, but I ended up regaining almost all of it. I don't know if that means the answer for me is to keep doing these challenges to "keep myself honest" or find some hidden reserve in me that doesn't overeat. I guess the longer term solution is to find that hidden reserve. so still trying to figure out maintenance.

I hope you have lots of fun and see great fireworks and your animals aren’t too scared because random explosions nearby. Last night Josh and I went out to trivia and got 3rd place. As it turns out, my memory for American history is not that great. And I took an Advanced Placement class in that…. Thirty years ago. Anywho, we had a lot of fun nonetheless.

    Thoughts:

    Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.



    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    Day 87-07/05-DNW-(Trend weight DNW) Today is my no-weigh Friday due to my schedule. How convenient that it happened to come the day after a Food Holiday! I actually kept the calories pretty reasonable but I know the carbs were through the roof. I also know that I should have just kept off the buns but I didn’t. The higher carbs are never a good thing for me, especially with T2D. It just re-routes all my food to fat storage efficiently and automatically. Hopefully tomorrow’s scale reading won’t be too bad after yesterday’s Epic Fail since I did get all my weeds pulled in the morning and some other outside work done for some extra movement. However, a day of carb recuperation in-between is very welcomed (and probably needed) I am sure. Have a great weekend everyone.

    Day 82—06/30-- 175 This is getting super annoying. Not blowing way off plan, no peanut butter sandwiches, cheddar cheese etc etc. My ‘diet’ has way lightened up but the weight stays essentially the same. * sigh * I was on anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants for my shoulder, perhaps this is causing some fluid retention. Got thru work today without any shoulder issues; worked smarter, not harder.

    Day 85 – 07/03: 173.6 @ 8:00 am Looking fwd to the promised heat wave. Need some sunshine!! Quick road trip this morning then yardwork for ‘exercise’. Update: Quick road trip turned into an “all day” affair. Drove to city 2 ½ hrs south, picked up friend needed for an errand. Car was hard to restart at her place so I kept it running while GF dealt with reason I traveled (replace a lost a key cut for a vehicle she shared with DSon) but even that didn’t go smoothly and would take “2 or 3 hours or maybe not ready until tomorrow”. *no words* Cancelled all shopping in the big city plans and drove home until I needed gas, and you guessed it, once shut off, the car refused to start. Called tow truck, would take up to 2 hrs although I was only 30 minutes from business with trucks. Waited in hot sun for at least an hour; DH finally heard the phone and was able to find a way to get the car started ( turn key on, activate e-brake 2 or 3 times), then it started!! PTL and DH!! Walked in the door and poured a wine! DH had done all the yardwork I’d planned on doing ‘for exercise’.

    Day 86 – 07/04: 173.4 It’s coming down. Feel like I’m tip toeing on thin ice 😉

    Day 87 – 07/05: 173.4 30 minute paddle; shoulder was “iffy”. 1350 cals/ 22 WW pts.

    @dawnbgethealthy - Thank you for the encouragement. I had another spell during my strong and fit class today. I only made it through 30 min instead of the whole 60 min. I had to sit down and drink water to offset the dizziness. But after a long rest I was fine again. This is disturbing since I normally only have it happen once or so a year ... not 2 days in a row. DH seems to think that my exercising is battling my low carbs and lack of calories. I'll need to keep a handle on this since we leave on Thursday!

    @dawnbgethealthy Okay I think I 'm understanding that what you call a water cracker in Canada is just what we call a Ritz cracker or a buttery round cracker in the U.S. Here's a pic of the side of my box, mine are just a little lower in carbs by happenstance.

    I do use those in my soup. 5 crackers if I'm being good, 8 crackers if I am not so good. I used to eat a whole sleeve in one bowl of soup so I am proud of that particular progress lol. For snacking, I have been using the one's below. The blue package are slightly different from a real cracker, kind of between a cracker and a cheese curl. They have double the protein of the other package. Both are low in Net carbs and fair in portion size and calories. I think I mentioned these to @lilylady3k when I talked about the charcuterie plate. I sometimes put a serving (or a half serving depending on the rest of the plate). These I probably would not use in soup unless maybe in tomato basil soup as the one's in the white pack may work similar to the croutons I like to use in my tomato basil in lieu of crackers. I purchase these at Aldi's and I think they are exclusive to the Aldi's stores. I'm sure there are other almond flour crackers out there. I buy the one's in the white pack most often and use them when I really want to add something crunchy to my snack line up. At just 4 net carbs for 12 crackers (each a little bigger than a cheese-it) they work for me.

    The ingredient lists on these are actually not too bad. Not so chemically laden so I like that about these too. There are probably some low carb or keto recipes out there for snack crackers made with almond flour. I'll have to google it and/or Youtube it. I wanted to make sure I share this info with Lily too.

    Thanks for the pic on the water crackers. I was confused until I saw it for sure. I actually looked at multiple grocery stores for the words "water crackers" and never found any lol. I make a pretty good crab dip that is lower carb and use the water crackers for that also. Great snack!

    My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.

    Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
    Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
    Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
    Day 04 79.4 kg a big loss today. I did a lot of walking, I had sugary food for the first time in 8 days. I overate. Recently there have been 6 days when I overate a lot, I had sugary food 5 times. Coincidence?
    Day 05 79.8 kg just a normal day where I am good, no overeating and exercising is as required
    Day 06 80.4 kg I started two personal challenges, I had some sugary food because I won't be having sugary food for a while, so on Tuesday I gained...
    Day 07 80.6 kg my eating and exercise went well, still need to recover from the overeating episodes, maybe in 2-3 days that will happen
    Day 08 80.4 kg I had some treats and food I don't usually have, that's a negative, on the plus side I'm still exercising as I intended
    Day 09 80.3 kg I have a cold so I only managed half my exercise today, that's fine, eating was good.
    Day 10 80.2 kg another day when I ate properly, two days in a row, plus two exercise sessions.
    Day 11 79.7 kg a good day in terms of exercise and eating
    Day 12 78.7 kg I don't see a 1 kg loss very often, anyway I overate again, although my exercise was as planned
    Day 13 79.3 kg Another good day, exercise and diet were good. I've decided to attempt to lose 10 kg in 100 days - so this will move over to the next round. Starting tomorrow.
    Day 14 79.4 kg I ran the numbers to see whether I could lose 10 kg in 100 days and it seems iffy, however I'm not particularly hungry as I lose weight, so I guess I should just eat less. I overate and did my required amount of exercise. I looked at my intake graph and since day 1 there's been 7 days when I've overeaten.
    Day 15 79.7 kg I ate a bit too much and my exercise was less than required. 10 kg in 100 days: 10.3 kg to lose in 99 days. Can I do it? Probably.
    Day 16 79.6 kg I ate too much but my exercise was alright. I've decided to delay the 10 kg in 100 days idea until my weight loss 'settles down'

If it's working at the end maybe I'll add an extra 3 days and see if I can do 10 kg in 100 days. Unfortunately my health has not fully recovered so I may need a diagnosis. If that happens I'll stop the challenge. So starting today, I'm aiming to lose weight again. 9.7 kg in 97 days? I probably can do that.

    @deepwoodslady - Water crackers are nothing like Ritz crackers! They are baked flat white crackers. Water crackers are very plain made simply with water and flour. I buy mini size style HEB brand and then I also sometimes get the Carr's table side version.
