    Back again! Weighing in every other day bc otherwise I get too discouraged. I leave for a trip 6/14 and want to be under 145 by then.

    SW 3/27: 172.2
    4/1: 168.0
    GW for end of may: 150
    GW for 6/14: 145
    UGW: 128

    5/1: 159.2

    Only down 0.4lbs since Sunday and feeling a little discouraged. I have been working out 55 minutes each day and staying at a 1000 calorie deficit according to my watch. I did get a steroid shot for my ear last Thursday so I am hoping it’s just water retention, I have also had a ton of sodium the past two days. Here goes another month!

    Ugh lots of rain here in Texas. Was able to get a 30 min treadmill walk in yesterday, but it was supposed to be my rest/tasty food day. That got spoiled with all the rain, roads flooded, and daycare closed early so I had to go get my kiddo. School closed today too so another day home with him. I don’t get the chance to be as active when home with him bc he walks to the playground and that’s about it. So I guess no tasty meal today either since I have to keep calories on point.

    I've been trying to walk 3 miles a day, in 1.5 mi chunks -- doing this with the right knee having issues (xray scheduled), and a pulled muscle in the left leg due to overcompensating for the right knee. It's been tricky doing any stairs too, but walking is helping overall. Yesterday I could only manage 1.5 miles, but I hope to do the full 3 miles today. And my husband and I are agreeing to not sabotaging with weekend meals. I'm hoping to come out of the weekend with no gain. I'm also going to walk at least one day this weekend.

    No rain here (yet), but it's been beastly hot. Yesterday was almost 90F. We've been in the 80's all week. Way too early in the year for this.

    @kebass01 I hope there's no lasting issues with flooding. Be safe.
    @SofaKween Same here, rainy weekend. Is it too much to ask for 55F and sunny every day? :D
    @jennigerding19 Sending hugs. I hope the Taco Bell was good though.

    It’s been almost full week of overcast/rain here too. But I’m heading off to airport in 12 hours. So won’t be doing weigh ins until next week Sunday! Not taking the scale with me lol

    Yes @ManifestingToday, the rain stayed away and we even had the bonus of a bit more sunshine than was predicted. Have the grandkids all day today, so will get my exercise tripping over toys!

    Yesterday was rough. Went to a bowling alley/arcade where my child didn’t eat his food so I did. Ate all my calories before 3pm lol. Today we are headed to an Astros baseball game and my kiddo gets to walk the field for his little league. Back to the grind tomorrow.

    Yeah, I expected that bump in weight. Unexpected was another monthly cycle. The menopause years are very odd and exhausting - no cycle for months, then one short cycle, or two cycles close together, or a 1.5 week cycle. A lot of this weight is due to menopause. I was relatively healthy weight prior to this. I did walk 2 miles yesterday, and I'm going to walk at least 2 today, and try not to eat later than 6pm. We're also doing the grocery run this afternoon and will get more salad, etc, so it will be a healthier food today. We've been alternating salads with chicken, or soup with added veggies & kidney beans, for dinner during the week.

    @SofaKween Enjoy time with the grandkids, I hope you get your exercise in with the fun stuff. :)
    @kebass01 Hopefully it will be ok weather for the game! Enjoy, and we'll all be back to the work tomorrow.

    Well the last 4 days I had all my calories before 3pm. Trying to change that today and back to my spaced food instead of one big meal. Haven’t walked/ worked out since last Wednesday so hopping back to it today, dreading it but if I want to keep progress rolling I know I need to. It’s not so much of a give up and eat everything thing but more of a no exercise
