Still chugging along. I expected a bigger drop in the two days since I ran 20/60 minutes and then walked 5 miles yesterday all while doing 1000 calorie deficit both days. According to my app Iβm 6 days out from shark week so maybe my body is starting to retain water. I also wanted to devour everything and say f it yesterday. It was hard. Hopefully these next two days go better.3 -

I feel like the scales are stuck although itβs hardly surprising given the lack of exercise. Going climbing today so that should give the hamstrings a gentle stretch @ManifestingToday β with Friday wine no doubt scales will uptick though.

Still goingβ¦..I got nothing just trying to stay positive and scale negative. Heading to go golfing with the husband and taking the 4yo boy. First time golfing in 5 years, cart of course, but should be some light exercise between that and chasing the 4 yo.2 -

Been a frustrating week scales-wise. I need to do a weights workout today but it will have to be at home as i'm waiting in for a parcel. Need to dig out the discipline as I have no enthusiasm for it.2 -

AF came yesterday. Still super sore from golfing Saturday, it was my first time in in 5 years. The kid loved running around and riding in the cart. He picked me some flowers out there too. Motherβs Day we went to a nice restaurant and then finished with some dessert at Sonic so I did cheat and gave a cookie dough blast (mini). I fit in my jeans!!! I was the most worried about that for dinner as I did not want to wear my yoga pants to dinner lol. Still need to fit in some of my nicer shirts though. Lower 150s Iβm coming for you!3 -

My left knee or one of the ligaments is badly sprained. Thought I could keep going with it, and it's pretty much done. I've ordered a brace off Amazon, and for now, it's limited walking around the house and very carefully navigating stairs. At this point, I am going to half to very carefully count calories and try to eat under plan to see any loss. I'm going to see what seated workouts I can do to get my heart rate up. This is so frustrating though.

@SofaKween You've got this. Just lie to yourself that you only need to do 15 minutes and hopefully that will get you working out and through an entire routine for the day. Usually once I get started, I find the motivation to keep going. I hope the package arrives early.

Ouch @ManifestingToday - I hope the knee ligament pain eases off soon. I took your advice and told myself I could just do the warm-up, then thought of you with no option but to hobble around your house and powered through. I use the word 'powered' loosely. Many rests were taken between sets. Take care of yourself.2

Iβm afraid the scale may creep up in the near future. Iβm back to running but still a bite here and there, finishing leftovers, etc. I spent a good portion of last week in bathing suit, and I only feel fat 50% of the time now, so slow and steady for me. Along with a positive attitude βΊοΈ
@ManifestingToday sorry to hear. Itβs harder to lose weight without physical activity. During beginning of Covid era I managed to lose some weight without any cardio but itβs tough. Got to distract or immerse yourself fully with something to avoid the kitchen.1 -

The uptick is from Mother's Day. This will go down. I have very light meals planned for the next several days, and managed 40 minutes of seated cardio yesterday (Mostly arms, and modified doing seated knee lifts instead of kicks, which is gentle enough for me) -- so there is a way around the knee issue. I'm not letting this sideline me.
@Plasicage I agree, I'll have to be very specific with food choices. I did well well yesterday (despite that weight number above). I'm going to still try to keep going, just with modified movement workouts.

After bobbing about around the same weight more or less for the best part of a week, scales are finally heading downwards, nicely in time for my all-inclusive long weekend away. Just as well i'm a fussy eater.

Not going to lie, the seated workouts are good. I've modified them so I'm doing knee lifts instead of kicks, etc -- both my thighs and my core are sore after a couple of days of doing these! And I'm finding new ones to mix into the routine. Who knows, maybe I'll continue with this even once my knee is better. I was also able to schedule an appt with a specialist for a couple of weeks from now for my knees/left leg. So hopefully I'll get some help there.
@kellyswimmer I don't know if there's a way to have less wine instead of none, or trade it for something else in the day?

Still trucking a long. A month and a half in, just keep looking at the overall loss. Itβs so much more fun to put it on then take it off. My normal clothes are still too tight/feel fat in them. I am hoping in 5 more pounds it wonβt feel that way, but I know I need to be in the low 140s for them to fit, but itβs so far away. At this rate another month and a half away. Anyways still trying to do an hour work out over lunch and eating a lot of protein.4 -
@SofaKween Thanks for asking. I can walk on it, I just can't climb the stairs with it, or pivot on it. Not knowing if it's a muscle or a ligament, I'm trying not to walk too much on it if I don't have to, to let it heal. I was able to schedule an appt with an Orthopedist, so they'll be able to figure out what's going on, and set me in the right direction.
@kebass01 You're doing great. You're right, it's a LOT more fun putting the weight on, than taking it off. But you're getting there. Keep in mind also that the number on the scale can still be higher than you want, but inches off the waist, etc, will still happen and make clothes feel/look better. You've got this!2 -

Going away for a long weekend so no weigh-in until Monday 20th but Iβll still post daily for accountability. My mildly sore throat which I thought was down to choir on Monday has ramped up overnight so Iβm hoping itβs just bad hay-fever and antihistamines will sort it!
@kellyswimmer - glad your daughter is OK and hope she didn't have to wait too long to be seen.
