UFO's and aliens

We're an experiment they started many years ago, and they come to check on us from time to time. The entire universe of intelligent life knows about us and watches our progress. As we fumble around trying to solve simple problems. One day, when were ready, they'll come explain everything. ...just a thought.

i like this theory. i think there could definitely be truth in it. these alien scientists are our creators, or gods, as we are to that which we create in our own laboratories.

I think there is life on other planets. Are they visiting us? Unlikely.
I think Humans will learn how to time travel in the future (coz time is all warped and not really linear). And what we think are UFOs are actually human space crafts from the future (of strange shapes because ofcourse future time travelling crafts WILL look different then what we know :smokin: )
These future humans are riding back/through time to observe their own past i.e Us!

And thats what I mostly believe. But i have an open mind about this stuff.

I just had this conversation with my 7 year old son this weekend. He was telling me that his dad said aliens and ufos aren't real. I explained how big the universe is and that it would be incredibly naive to dismiss the idea of other planets being able to sustain life. I asked him to do some research and I'm pretty sure by this weekend he will know more about aliens and ufos than 90% of other people because he is absolutely obsessed.

Also, my grandparents both say they saw a ufo and I believe them especially because my grandfather didn't have a funny bone in his body.

I'm a believer. My grandma has always had an interest in extraterrestrial and the paranormal. Growing up, I loved going into her office and seeing all the cool books she had on the topics. Some of them are pretty convincing.

I was at my parent's house one night and went outside for a cigarette and saw a glowing light that was pretty low in the sky. It was hovering, too low to be a star or planet and not moving as a plane would. It disappeared and then showed up in a different place and hovered. I went inside to get my dad and he and my stepmom had admitted to seeing stuff like that from time to time and they too believed it was freaky.

Not too long ago I saw a ton of people commenting on a community facebook page about alleged sightings in that part of the county and I was surprised how many people had seen similar things.

Also remember if they are observing earth (somehow)....from the distance they would have to be at.....they would see a primordial earth....so why would they bother making the trip anyway? Just like how many of the stars we see, may not even exist anymore!

think if we allowed for the human race to evolve another 1000 000 000 million years . Chances are we will explore the universe .


We already starting

#ElonMusk taking the first steps to proper exploration and the prediction of human beings being a multi planetary species . Not just earth . Look what is happening to our planet.

Multi-planetary......as in our own solar system......that's not far at all in universe terms. And for humans to explore the universe....we would have to build a propulsion system capable of travelling near the speed of light otherwise travel times would be colossal. At our current capabilities your looking at 10s of 1000s of year just to reach the nearest star.....let alone habitable planets.

Plus at this rate....I doubt humans will be around anywhere near that long!

Yes we have to explore our own solar system first , which is happening .

So you telling me over time with the evolution of technology and knowledge we wont be able to manipulate the way we travel ?

Again How old is this universe? and how old are human beings compared to the universe? we babies .

I'm saying due to the physical restraints of the speed of travel (which nothing can exceed), I am saying the probability of humans travelling the outer universe is next to zero. Also robotic exploration will have its limits, as the further away it gets, the longer it will take to receive a transmission.

havent heard of Alcubierre have you? its just one example of someone theorizing that faster than light travel is possible. just think what we will have thought of in 100 years, 1000...100,000. its pretty ridiculous to say we wont be able to go FTL in some way ever. people said we'd never fly, break the sound barrier....200 years ago people would think you are crazy if you told them you could destroy a city with a bomb the size of a suitcase. just think of what we'll will be doing in 200 years or more.

as for the Fermi paradox someone mentioned...that could be explained in a lot of ways. one as simple as a galactic "Do Not Feed the Bears" sign outside our solar system. or a galactic Prime Directive. or maybe our location in the galaxy. and who knows maybe there is some great galactic war going on during man's evolution and everyone is too busy to visit us.
