I'm faking one RIGHT NOW!
Faking WHAT right now? HMMM?
Thats a different thread sweetie.:happy:0 -
This gave me a great idea for a side business, as I am currently pregnant.
I see a college fund in your babies future.0 -
Never. That's ridiculous, and I've dumped friends who did it to their boyfriends. The women who do that need to grow up.0

I've faked 3 sympathetic pregnancies.
I think after 18 years though, she's caught on that it was really just all the beer and take-out making me fat. :drinker:0 -
I actually do know (or I should say "did") two girls that claimed "pregnant" in a last ditch effort to keep their men. I know one that followed it up with a fake miscarriage she took it so far.
I also know one that intentionally got pregnant to keep her man. Ironically, they are married 16 years now... happily by appearance at least.0 -
One time while I was in college, my dad started whining about how he didn't have any grandchildren and some of his friends that were his age were already grandfathers. Anyways, I looked him straight in the eye and told him that I had fathered 5 kids with three different women and named them after the Jackson 5. Tito had his chin.
But I couldn't keep up a straight face. I blurted out laughing. For a second, I thought he was going to slap me.0 -
This is the type of crap that makes women steal babies from hospitals or worse.
Huh?
She is telling the truth. There are some crazy people out there that will do anything to keep their lie from being discovered. It's disturbing that a website like that can even exist. Few examples:

I think it's the fact that they're effing crazy in this first place that makes them pull ANY of this, starting with fake pregnancies.0 -
Holy way-back machine Batman. My sister pulled this stunt after an argument with my mom. She started screaming about how she had snuck out of the house, went to a party, had sex with some old guy (?????!!!!!!!!!) she met there and now she was pregnant. I remember sitting at the table watching all of this transpire and wondering if I had entered some alternate universe. My mom grabbed her by the arm, threw her in the car (literally) and hauled her down to the clinic.
Turns out it was a lie and it did not end well for her (I think she may still be grounded to this day). Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Now, to forget again.0 -
Who does this?
You'd do better to rub the lotion on his skin or he gets the hose again...0 -
At least once a year since the first time I ever had sex. How else can you keep a man?
This is hilarious and made me LOL!0 -
No! I don't plan on giving my husband a heart attack lol0
-
more than I would like to admit0

I remember laughing with a friend in college as she planned to do this with her husband for April Fool's (the positive test part, but then tell him the truth the same day).
But now I've seen the heartache of friends who desperately want to conceive and can't, or who conceive but lose the pregnancy early on. It's not such a joking matter any more.0 -
Yes I feel really guilty about it...0

I've never needed to fake a pregnancy. Almost a year ago, one of my dingbat coworkers started a rumor that I was pregnant and tried telling everyone at work. I told him to stop or I'm talking to Human Resources. I did go around and tell everyone on my shift to not believe him because he is full of bologna. Still haven't figured out what his problem is but I don't care for as long as he doesn't start making up any more crap about me. I never did figure out how on Earth I looked pregnant to begin with.0

hmmm i do have some very pregnant friends, maybe i can get them to take test and we can sell them go 50/50 on the profits? i could use the cash lol0

I'm faking one RIGHT NOW!
You mean... we're not having a baby??
No, we are. I'm faking a DIFFERENT pregnancy.
LOL!!!0 -
Got in an argument with a girlfriend in college and her idea to get back at me was to fake a pregnancy. Apparently, her ex boyfriend got really mad and freaked out when she pulled the same stunt on him. I ruined it for her because I got excited and went on hyperdrive saying she doesn't have to worry and I would take care of her and the baby. She decided to run with it in hopes I get upset or mad once things set in. On the third day I was at her place and mentioned that I was going to call my family and let them know ( you would think she would come clean at this point). Her roommate called me later that night to tell me not to call my family because my girlfriend was lying.
That was when I realized I was dating a crazy person and had to end it. Funny thing, I ran into her the next Fall and she had a belly, so decided to make a joke about her taking the pregnant stunt too far. Turns out it was real that time.0 -
Haha one of the characters on Days of Our Lives did this some years back. Her excuses for why she didn't want her man to touch the pillow she wore as a fake baby bump were hilarious . Soap operas make the whole concept of suspension of disbelief extremely difficult. It made me laugh though.0
