What do you mean with add it? You can simple change the labels, and number of categories on your food diary. Get rid of breakfast, call lunch 4hr window, etc...

    Yeah, what yirara said.

You can use the FOOD diary in any way you want.

One thing (that is just an annoying "feature" of this site) is the bottom on the food page that says, "Complete this day" - don't use that, it does nothing and for people using IF it will/might give you a popup that says you under-ate. It's a dumb feature. Just ignore it.

I agree with the "comple your day" feature. It's useless and it irritates me. I'm completely bloated at bedtime and it says too bad you didn't eat enuff we're not saving this!

“Complete your day” has nothing whatsoever to do with saving your data. It just generates the “if every day we’re like today” message. That’s it. There isn’t really any reason at all to actively close your diary.

As others have said, you don't have to close your diary, and if you don't hit that button, you won't get that message. I never close mine.

That said, that warning is there for a reason: Unless someone is quite petite, inactive, and older, eating less than that warning threshold isn't a health-promoting idea. Fastest weight loss isn't best weight loss, because losing too fast creates health risks, among other issues.

Eating too little for best health is eating too little, whether the eating is done in a limited fasting window, or via eating all day long.

I get that some people do alternate day fasting or 5:2, so would get the warning on their low-calorie days, even if getting a sensible number of calories for reasonable weight loss when averaged across the week. But if the warning is coming up for someone doing 20:4 or 16:8 or some such, it has a point, in most cases.
