Hi everyone!
If I enjoy pizza and chocolate and my aim is to keep losing weight can I still eat those foods provided that I'm being reasonable about it?

If you make them fit your calories, yes!
I have chocolate daily, and pizza every couple of weeks, and still make good, steady progress.0 -

Ok. Personally, I have chocolate only once per week, rarely twice a week. I'm the same!0 -

I love high cocoa dark chocolate, which is a bonus because a little goes a long way. I have a ritual of 20g (2 squares) a night with my tea. It makes me happy!0 -
I eat chocolate and pizza. As long as it's within calorie budget, my weight behaves as I want it to. (I'm in year 8 of maintaining a healthy weight, so far. With chocolate, I usually go with small portions of good chocolate, probably several times a week. I have trouble moderating pizza when I get it, so I eat that more infrequently, but in bigger portions. I'm not advocating my portioning strategies necessarily, just describing my personal behavior. ).
The important part of this is: As long as I stay within calorie budget (on average over time), my weight behaves as expected.0 -
Just log everything and see how high calorie the pizza is.
When I got serious about my eating I reduced my personal serving size of pizza by half.
As far as cutting down chocolate, I found some success regarding chocolate- if youre having an unbearable craving, eat one square of Unsweetened baking chocolate. That will take care of the chemical cravings within the chocolate that your body is having, but minus the joy. It sucks, but it works0
