“My Foods” needs THIS critical feature

idea: allow a little bit easier of an importing process for RECIPES to MY FOODS. This will allow users to customize weight/volumes for our daily inputs. Right now, I have to write down my new recipes nutritional information, and then create a SEPARATE MY FOODS item.
An example where this helps is if I find a recipe on social media, but I want to be more specific with how I consume my nutrition, I can create a food item with the specific foods and products I am using as well as their specific portions/weight.

Isn't this the recipe builder?2

Yeah, that sounds like the scenario where I'd use the recipe builder to input the recipe, then log portions of the recipe in my diary as needed.
Personally, I usually use the weight of the finished food (in grams) as the number of portions, then log as many portions as the number of grams on the scale when I weigh my serving size. MFP will give a warning message for that huge number of servings when I first try to add it that way, but it will let me proceed with the add.
If I'm not understanding your question correctly, please clarify?0 -

I do this too, or if it's a huge numbers of serves, I will divide by 10 or 100 and log it as serves of 10 or 100g and put that in the recipe name.1
