    @MissMay No you are not stepping into my space. I appreciate any suggestions or advice that I can get.

    I actually asked my husband to go to the store for me. He wasn't very happy about it. He doesn't really drink. He has an occasional beer or two. After he left, I called him and said not to buy the alcohol. But, he was already at the liquor store. And, I wasn't sure what I should do. So, I told him to go ahead and buy it.

    I'm definitely struggling with myself right now. We do have a kitchen sink. And, the whiskey may end up in it later. I'm just afraid that I may wake up in the middle of the night. And, I might regret not having any. I've been drinking about a fifth (750ml) for several weeks now. And, our state run liquor store doesn't open until 11am tomorrow. So, I probably won't dump it out. But, I don't intend to ever go to that store again! I really wanted December to be completely AF. So, I'm a bit disappointed with myself.

    Oh goodness I did not realize you asked him to go. Sorry, my mistake.

    I know you said it is ONE 750ml (a 5th) bottle size. ONE bottle sounds "almost as little as one drink" depending on the size of glass.
    Be very careful, that bottle size holds in standard US measurements + 16.9 drinks.

    We all care very deeply about you and your life and love having you as you are a huge part of our thread.

    @MissMay No problem. I appreciate your help and concern.

    A fifth of whiskey in the US is 750ml. They used to call them fifths before they converted to the metric system. So, I really don't know what a fifth of whiskey was. You know...a fifth of what? 🤔I believe a bottle of wine is about the same volume. But, whiskey is 80 proof, where wine is much less (not sure) as far as alcohol content. 750ml of whiskey is a LOT!

    I've already decided that the whiskey WILL be going down the drain before midnight. I may be a bit uncomfortable for a day or two. But, it has to happen sometime. My husband says he'll do the cooking and such until I'm back on my feet.

    We're also going to sign up at our local gym real soon too. I need to get my balance and coordination back first. But, it won't take long 🙂 And, I'll just start out slow. I like free weights and I like the step machine where you continually walk up, but you never get anywhere...what's up with that?

    Thanks for caring!

    edited December 2
    Nov:
    AF=10
    A=20

    Not the goal I set for myself the beginning of this month, but still better than 30 days of A. See you all in December.
